有一个人，名叫亚拿尼亚，同他的妻子撒非喇，卖了田产，把钱私自留下一部分，他的妻子也知道，其余的部分拿来放在使徒脚前。彼得说：“亚拿尼亚！为什么撒但充满了你的心，使你欺骗圣灵，把卖田地的钱私自留下一部分呢？田地还没有卖，不是你自己的吗？既卖了，钱不是你作主吗？你怎么心里会想这样做呢？你不是欺骗人，是欺骗神！”亚拿尼亚一听见这些话，就仆倒，断了气；所有听见的人都非常惧怕。有些年轻人起来，把他裹好，抬出去埋葬了。约过了三小时，他的妻子进来，还不知道所发生的事。彼得对她说：“你告诉我，你们卖田地的钱就是这些吗？”她说：“就是这些。”彼得对她说：“你们为什么同谋来试探主的灵呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的脚已到门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”她立刻仆倒在彼得脚前，断了气。那些年轻人进来，见她已经死了，就把她抬出去，埋在她丈夫旁边。

倘若你们不这样做，看哪，你们就得罪了耶和华，当知道你们的罪必找上你们。

扫罗说：“你们再抽签，看是我，还是我儿子约拿单。”抽中的是约拿单。

“贼被捉拿，怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王、官长、祭司、先知也都照样羞愧。

祸患追赶罪人；义人却得善报。
