Get up! Sanctify the people, and say,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, for Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,“ There is a devoted thing among you, Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted thing from among you.”

你起來，去叫百姓分別為聖，說：『你們要為了明天使自己分別為聖，因為耶和華－以色列的上帝這樣說：以色列啊，在你中間有當滅的物；你們若不把你們中間當滅之物除掉，你在仇敵面前必站立不住！』

起來吧！去吩咐民眾潔淨自己，讓他們為明天潔淨自己，因為以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『以色列啊！你們中間有本該毀滅的東西，你們不除掉這些東西就無法抵擋敵人。

起、使民自潔、諭之曰、自潔以備明日、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華云、以色列歟、爾中匿有當滅之物、非先除之、不能禦敵、

盍起、成聖斯民、使潔己身、以待明晨、將我命傳眾曰、以色列族與、有獻我之物、藏於爾間、未出斯物、爾不能禦敵。

爾起、使民自潔、諭之曰、明日當自潔、蓋主以色列之天主如是云、以色列人、爾中有擅取歸我物之罪、故爾未除此罪、不能禦敵、

“ Go, consecrate the people. Tell them,‘ Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.

“ Go and set the people apart. Tell them,‘ Make yourselves pure. Get ready for tomorrow. Here is what the Lord, the God of Israel, wants you to do. He says,“ People of Israel, you have kept some of the things that had been set apart to me to be destroyed. You can’t stand up against your enemies until you get rid of those things.”

Get up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the Lord, God of Israel,“ There are devoted things in your midst, O Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted things from among you.”

“ Get up! Command the people to purify themselves in preparation for tomorrow. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Hidden among you, O Israel, are things set apart for the Lord. You will never defeat your enemies until you remove these things from among you.

“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

Stand up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the Lord, the God of Israel, has said this:“ There are things designated for destruction in your midst, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you have removed the designated things from your midst.”

Get up, sanctify the people, and say,‘ sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.”

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, There is a devoted thing in the midst of thee, O Israel; thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the devoted thing from among you.

Get up! Ritually consecrate the people and tell them this:‘ Ritually consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the LORD God of Israel says,“ You are contaminated, O Israel! You will not be able to stand before your enemies until you remove what is contaminating you.”

Joshua said to the people,“ Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Yahweh will do wonders among you.”

You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye.

But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?But those who are outside, God judges.“ Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh.Let’s lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,and be ready for the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying,‘ Be careful that you don’t go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether it is animal or man, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain.”Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.He said to the people,“ Be ready by the third day. Don’t have sexual relations with a woman.”

Gather the people. Sanctify the assembly. Assemble the elders. Gather the children, and those who nurse from breasts. Let the bridegroom go out of his room, and the bride out of her room.Let the priests, the ministers of Yahweh, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say,“ Spare your people, Yahweh, and don’t give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples,‘ Where is their God?’”

Now you intend to degrade the children of Judah and Jerusalem as male and female slaves for yourselves. Aren’t there even with you trespasses of your own against Yahweh your God?

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame,before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of Yahweh comes on you, before the day of Yahweh’s anger comes on you.

Israel has sinned. Yes, they have even transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. Yes, they have even taken some of the devoted things, and have also stolen, and also deceived. They have even put it among their own stuff.
