Get up! Ritually consecrate the people and tell them this:‘ Ritually consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the LORD God of Israel says,“ You are contaminated, O Israel! You will not be able to stand before your enemies until you remove what is contaminating you.”

你起來，去叫百姓分別為聖，說：『你們要為了明天使自己分別為聖，因為耶和華－以色列的上帝這樣說：以色列啊，在你中間有當滅的物；你們若不把你們中間當滅之物除掉，你在仇敵面前必站立不住！』

起來吧！去吩咐民眾潔淨自己，讓他們為明天潔淨自己，因為以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『以色列啊！你們中間有本該毀滅的東西，你們不除掉這些東西就無法抵擋敵人。

起、使民自潔、諭之曰、自潔以備明日、蓋以色列之上帝耶和華云、以色列歟、爾中匿有當滅之物、非先除之、不能禦敵、

盍起、成聖斯民、使潔己身、以待明晨、將我命傳眾曰、以色列族與、有獻我之物、藏於爾間、未出斯物、爾不能禦敵。

爾起、使民自潔、諭之曰、明日當自潔、蓋主以色列之天主如是云、以色列人、爾中有擅取歸我物之罪、故爾未除此罪、不能禦敵、

“ Go, consecrate the people. Tell them,‘ Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.

“ Go and set the people apart. Tell them,‘ Make yourselves pure. Get ready for tomorrow. Here is what the Lord, the God of Israel, wants you to do. He says,“ People of Israel, you have kept some of the things that had been set apart to me to be destroyed. You can’t stand up against your enemies until you get rid of those things.”

Get up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the Lord, God of Israel,“ There are devoted things in your midst, O Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted things from among you.”

“ Get up! Command the people to purify themselves in preparation for tomorrow. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Hidden among you, O Israel, are things set apart for the Lord. You will never defeat your enemies until you remove these things from among you.

“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

Stand up! Consecrate the people and say,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, because the Lord, the God of Israel, has said this:“ There are things designated for destruction in your midst, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you have removed the designated things from your midst.”

Get up, sanctify the people, and say,‘ sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.”

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, There is a devoted thing in the midst of thee, O Israel; thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the devoted thing from among you.

“ Go and consecrate the people. Tell them to consecrate themselves for tomorrow, for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are things that are set apart among you, Israel. You will not be able to stand against your enemies until you remove what is set apart.

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel,[ There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

Get up! Sanctify the people, and say,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, for Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,“ There is a devoted thing among you, Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted thing from among you.”

Joshua told the people,“ Ritually consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will perform miraculous deeds among you.”

You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person.For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you.

Let us carefully examine our ways, and let us return to the LORD.Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:

But be careful when you are setting apart the riches for the LORD. If you take any of it, you will make the Israelite camp subject to annihilation and cause a disaster.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and make them wash their clothesand be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.You must set boundaries for the people all around, saying,‘ Take heed to yourselves not to go up on the mountain nor touch its edge. Whoever touches the mountain will surely be put to death!No hand will touch him– but he will surely be stoned or shot through, whether a beast or a human being; he must not live.’ When the ram’s horn sounds a long blast they may go up on the mountain.”Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.He said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day. Do not go near your wives.”

Gather the people; sanctify an assembly! Gather the elders; gather the children and the nursing infants. Let the bridegroom come out from his bedroom and the bride from her private quarters.Let the priests, those who serve the LORD, weep from the vestibule all the way back to the altar. Let them say,“ Have pity, O LORD, on your people; please do not turn over your inheritance to be mocked, to become a proverb among the nations. Why should it be said among the peoples,“ Where is their God?”

And now you are planning to enslave the people of Judah and Jerusalem. Yet are you not also guilty before the LORD your God?

It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife.And you are proud! Shouldn’t you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you?For even though I am absent physically, I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present.When you gather together in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of our Lord Jesus,turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough?

Bunch yourselves together like straw, you undesirable nation,before God’s decree becomes reality and the day of opportunity disappears like windblown chaff, before the LORD’s raging anger overtakes you– before the day of the LORD’s angry judgment overtakes you!

Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenantal commandment! They have taken some of the riches; they have stolen them and deceitfully put them among their own possessions.
