可憎之物、勿攜入室、恐爾亦成為當滅者、與物無異、必憾之甚、憎之極、以其為當滅之物也、

爾目清潔、不視邪惡、不觀橫逆、爾何顧諟行詐者乎、惡人吞噬義於己者、爾何緘默乎、

哈該曰、設有人以捫尸而蒙不潔、觸此諸物、則是物成為不潔乎、祭司僉曰、必為不潔、哈該曰、耶和華云、斯民斯族於我前亦若是、其手所作之工、及所獻之物、皆為不潔、

耶和華曰、若斯民、或先知、或祭司、問爾曰、耶和華有何警示、爾當應之曰、何警示耶、耶和華云、我必棄爾、

惟爾之罪戾、使爾與上帝隔絕、爾之愆尤、俾其掩面、而不垂聽、

耶和華之使者向以色列眾言此、民遂大聲號哭、

爾今又欲轉離、不從耶和華乎、今日悖逆耶和華、明日彼必怒以色列會眾、如爾所得之地、以為不潔、可歸耶和華會幕所在之地、得業於我儕中、但除我上帝耶和華壇外、勿築別壇、悖逆耶和華及我儕、昔謝拉裔亞干、豈非於當滅之物干罪、致怒及於以色列會眾乎、是其人之罪、不獨亡一人也、○
