Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

They have taken some of the things that had been set apart to me in a special way to be destroyed. They have stolen. They have lied. They have taken the things they stole and have put them with their own things.

必以城邑、及其所有、獻耶和華、而盡滅之、惟妓喇合、曾匿我使、故彼與全家、可存其生、所獻與所滅者勿取、恐爾亦為盡滅、使以色列族之營壘服詛、而累於禍。金銀銅鐵之器、必獻耶和華、貯其府庫。

亞干曰、我之所行、果犯罪耶和華、以色列之上帝。我見於貨財中、自示拿至之美衣、銀百兩、金片二十五兩、則貪而取之、今在幕中、藏於地、銀置於下。

曰、該撒、曰、然則以該撒之物納該撒、以上帝之物納上帝矣、

民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、

進立於主前。以利沙曰、其哈西從何而至。曰、僕無所往。曰彼下車迓爾之時、我心非與爾同在乎。此時豈可受人所饋、或金、或衣、以售橄欖圃、葡萄園、牛羊僕婢乎。

故於上帝前、萬物不得隱、豁然顯露、均為鞫我之主所視焉、

爾上帝耶和華所錫之邑中、如有男女作惡、違爾上帝耶和華之約、

以色列族犯所獻之物而取戾、蓋猶大支派、西喇曾孫、颯底孫。迦米子亞干、取所獻之物、故耶和華怒以色列族。○

昔我佑厥祖導出埃及、與之立約為彼所爽、我擯之弗顧、今復立約、必不若是。

彼得曰、爾曹曷與謀試主之神耶、葬爾夫者、足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

耶和華震怒曰、昔我與以色列族之祖立約、惟彼違逆、不遵我命、

以色列族不遵其上帝耶和華命、背其約、不聽從其僕摩西所傳之禁令、故遘此災。○

如爾背爾上帝耶和華所命之約、服事崇拜他上帝、則耶和華必震怒爾、使爾速亡、於其所賜之腴壤。

曰、人豈可欺上帝哉、惟爾欺我、爾曰、何欺爾、曰、不納什一、不獻禮物、爾曹通國之民、無不欺予、故服咒詛、

如人當獻我之物、偶有差失、致獲罪愆、則必獻我牡綿羊、純潔是務、循聖所權衡、依爾所估之價、以補其過。

耶和華告以色列族曰、爾母見出、必有離書、離書云何、爾身見鬻、必有所償、所償伊誰、爾母見出、爾身見鬻、乃罪應爾。我來俾爾悛改、從命者、迄無一人、獨何哉、我豈碌碌無能、不能手援爾與、我叱咤則河海變為槁壞、鱗族失水、死而變臭。

萬有之主耶和華曰、我出此卷、使入盜竊者之宅、又入指我名而妄誓者之宅、恆居其中、燬其木石、

斯眾必作歌以譏刺、曰、他人之財、充積爾家、質當之物、盡歸爾身、久而不償、禍必不遠、

曰、何不售此膏、得金三十、以濟貧乎、猶大言此、非為顧貧、特以職槖、竊取所貯耳、

彼爽約若亞當、居處斯土、違逆乎我、
