Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions.

Israel has sinned. I made a covenant with them. I commanded them to keep it. But they have broken it. They have taken some of the things that had been set apart to me in a special way to be destroyed. They have stolen. They have lied. They have taken the things they stole and have put them with their own things.

Israel has sinned; they have transgressed my covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings.

Israel has sinned and broken my covenant! They have stolen some of the things that I commanded must be set apart for me. And they have not only stolen them but have lied about it and hidden the things among their own belongings.

一個名叫亞拿尼亞的人與妻子撒非喇也把田產賣了。他私自留下一部分錢，然後把其餘的拿去交給使徒，這件事他妻子也知道。

要把這座城和城裡所有的東西毀滅，作為獻給耶和華之物。只有妓女喇合和她家中所有的人可以活命，因為她曾把我們派去的探子隱藏起來。你們要小心，不可私拿任何應當毀滅的東西，免得你們自取滅亡，並給以色列全營帶來災禍。要把所有的金銀和銅鐵器皿分別出來獻給耶和華，放進耶和華的庫房裡。」

亞干答道：「我的確得罪了以色列的上帝耶和華。事情是這樣的，在奪得的財物中，我看上了一件漂亮的示拿外衣、兩千二百克銀子和五百五十克金子，我一時貪心便拿去了，藏在我帳篷的地底下，銀子就放在衣服下面。」

他們說：「凱撒的。」耶穌說：「那麼，屬於凱撒的東西應該給凱撒，屬於上帝的東西應該給上帝。」

大地被世人玷污，他們違犯律法，不守律例，背棄永遠的約。

基哈西進去侍立在以利沙面前，以利沙問他：「基哈西，你剛才去哪裡了？」基哈西答道：「僕人哪裡也沒有去。」以利沙對他說：「那人下車回頭迎接你的時候，我的心不也在那裡嗎？現在豈是接受人家銀子、衣服、橄欖園、葡萄園、牛羊和僕婢的時候？

受造物在上帝面前都無法隱藏，因為萬物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我們必須向祂交帳。

「如果有人在你們的上帝耶和華將要賜給你們的各城鎮做祂視為惡的事，違背祂的約，

以色列人在當毀滅之物的事上犯了罪。因為猶大支派中謝拉的曾孫、撒底的孫子、迦米的兒子亞干拿了一些本該毀滅的東西，耶和華便向以色列人發怒。

這約不同於我與他們祖先所立的約，就是我牽著他們祖先的手領他們離開埃及時所立的。雖然我是他們的丈夫，他們卻違背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。」

彼得說：「你們二人怎麼串通起來試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」

耶和華向他們發怒，說：「這百姓違背了我跟他們祖先所立的約，不聽從我的話。

這都是因為以色列人沒有聽從他們的上帝耶和華，違背了祂的約，不遵行祂僕人摩西所吩咐的一切。

你們如果違背你們的上帝耶和華吩咐你們遵守的約，去供奉、祭拜別的神明，祂必向你們發怒，使你們在祂所賜的這美好土地上迅速滅亡。」

人怎可搶奪上帝的東西呢？可是你們不但搶奪我的東西，還說，『我們在何事上搶過你的東西呢？』「你們在十分之一的奉獻和其他供物上搶奪我的東西。舉國上下都是如此，所以你們必受咒詛。」

「如果有人無意中違犯了耶和華聖物的條例，為了贖過，他要從羊群中選一隻毫無殘疾的公綿羊獻給耶和華，或按聖所的秤獻上同等價值的銀子。這是贖過祭。

耶和華說：「我休你們母親的休書在哪裡呢？我把你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？你們被賣是因為你們的罪惡，你們母親被休是因為你們的過犯。為什麼我來的時候一個人也不在？為什麼我呼喚的時候沒有人回答？是我的臂膀太短不能救贖你們嗎？是我沒有能力拯救你們嗎？看啊，我斥責一聲，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野，魚類因無水而乾死，發出腥臭。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要使這咒詛進入盜賊和奉我的名起假誓者的家，住在他們家裡，毀滅他們的家，不留一木一石。」

「但那些被擄的人必用詩歌和俗語嘲諷他們，說，『你們有禍了！你們吞沒別人的財產，靠剝削別人囤積財富，要到何時呢？』

「為什麼不把香膏賣三百個銀幣去賙濟窮人呢？」他這樣說不是因為他真的關心窮人，其實他是個賊，常常藉管錢的機會中飽私囊。

可是，你們卻如亞當一樣背約，以詭詐待我。
