The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent.

The city and everything in it must be set apart to the Lord to be destroyed. But the prostitute Rahab and all those with her in her house must be spared. That’s because she hid the spies we sent.

And the city and all that is within it shall be devoted to the Lord for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.

所言者、上帝秘奧之智、古昔上帝所預定榮我者、

郇邑之民、當起而踐斯穀、我必使爾角若鐵、爾蹄若銅、彼之民人為爾抵觸、而蹂躪之、以其財貨供事我天下之主耶和華。

妓喇合有信、接偵者以平康、故不與不信者偕亡、

以色列族犯所獻之物而取戾、蓋猶大支派、西喇曾孫、颯底孫。迦米子亞干、取所獻之物、故耶和華怒以色列族。○

二人往山、居彼三日、待追者反、蓋追者求之於途不得。

先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。

接先知、因其為先知者、得先知之賞、接義人、因其為義人者、得義人之賞、此小子之一、因其為吾徒、第以杯水飲之者、我誠告爾、彼必不失賞也、

主耶和華曰、人子、當告飛鳥走獸云、我行殺戮於以色列山爾當至自四方、噬肉飲血、

約書亞告二偵者曰、入妓之室、取其人出、與凡所有、循爾所誓之言。偵者入、取喇合、及父母兄弟親戚、與凡所有、置之城外、居以色列族營壘。

告基尼人曰、在昔我族出自埃及、爾待之良厚、故今勸爾速與亞馬力人相離、恐爾亦為我所滅。基尼人遂離之而去。

嫩之子約書亞由失亭私遣二偵、曰、爾往哉、窺察斯土、及耶利歌。二偵遂往、入妓室而宿焉、妓名喇合。

有不愛主耶穌基督者、主臨日、必厭之、

我耶和華之刀、飲血食膏、有若羔羊山羊之血、牡綿羊之膋、蓋我於破斯喇、以東地、大行誅殛、如屠牲畜、

凡獻我之物、無論人畜田畝、俱不得鬻、亦不得贖、所獻禮物、不可復贖、乃必宰之。

喇合既匿二人、則曰、有人至我、不知何自、迨暝、閉邑門時、二人已出、不知何往、速追可及。蓋喇合引二人至屋上、有胡麻梗臚陳於彼、即藏其中。

以色列族指耶和華許願曰、若以此民付於我手、我必滅其邑。耶和華應所求、以迦南人付以色列族、盡圮厥邑滅厥眾、故稱其地曰、曷馬。○

凡不聽諸伯長老命、三日不至者、籍沒所有、驅於會外。
