Then the Lord said to Joshua,“ Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the place has been called Gilgal to this day.

Then the Lord spoke to Joshua. He said,“ Today I have taken away from you the shame of being slaves in Egypt.” That’s why the place where the men were circumcised has been called Gilgal to this very day.

And the Lord said to Joshua,“ Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” And so the name of that place is called Gilgal to this day.

Then the Lord said to Joshua,“ Today I have rolled away the shame of your slavery in Egypt.” So that place has been called Gilgal to this day.

The LORD then said to Joshua,“ Today I have rolled away the disgrace of Egypt from you.” Therefore, that place is still called Gilgal today.

「把那褻瀆聖名的人帶到營外，叫聽見的人把手放在他頭上，然後全體會眾要用石頭打死他。

那天是一月十日。以色列人從約旦河上來之後，就在耶利哥東邊的吉甲紮營。

「我們不能把妹妹嫁給沒有受過割禮的人，這對我們是一種羞辱。

約拿單對拿兵器的年輕人說：「我們去那些未受割禮之人的軍營，也許耶和華會幫助我們。祂使人得勝不在乎人數多少。」

大衛問站在旁邊的人：「如果有人殺了這非利士人，洗掉以色列人的羞辱，他會得到什麼呢？這個未受割禮的非利士人是誰？竟敢向永活上帝的軍隊罵陣！」

求你除去我所害怕的羞辱，因為你的法令是美善的。

耶和華說：「看啊，時候將到，我要懲罰所有只在身體受過割禮的人，

她們在埃及做娼妓，年輕時就淫亂，任人撫摸她們的胸，玩弄她們的乳。

我告訴他們要除掉他們祭拜的可憎之物，不可讓埃及的偶像玷污自己，因為我是他們的上帝耶和華。「『然而，他們卻背叛我，不聽我的話，沒有除去他們祭拜的可憎之物和埃及的偶像。我本想在埃及向他們發烈怒，傾倒我的怒火，

她沒有放棄在埃及的淫蕩行為，她年輕的時候就任人玩弄、發洩情慾。

「所以，你們要敬畏耶和華，誠心誠意地事奉祂，摒棄你們祖先在幼發拉底河那邊和在埃及所拜的神明，專心事奉耶和華。

我曾打死過獅子和熊。這未受割禮的非利士人竟敢向永活上帝的軍隊罵陣，他的下場也必像獅子和熊一樣。

因此，你們要記住，從前按照肉體來說你們是外族人，那些肉體上受過人手所行割禮的以色列人稱你們為「沒有受過割禮的」。那時，你們與基督無關，又不是以色列人，在上帝應許的諸約上是局外人，你們活在世上沒有盼望，沒有上帝。
