那人答道：“都不是，我来是做耶和华军队的统帅。”约书亚就俯伏下拜说：“我主，有什么话要吩咐仆人？”

那人回答：“不是的；我现在来是作耶和华军队的元帅。”约书亚就脸伏在地，向他下拜，对他说：“我主有什么事要吩咐仆人呢？”

曰、不然、我來欲為主軍之大帥、或作我乃主軍之大帥適至約書亞面伏於地、拜曰、我主以何命命僕、

“ Neither,” he replied,“ but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him,“ What message does my Lord have for his servant?”

“ I am not on either side,” he replied.“ I have come as the commander of the Lord’ s army.” Then Joshua fell with his face to the ground. He asked the man,“ What message does my Lord have for me?”

And he said,“ No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”

“ Neither one,” he replied.“ I am the commander of the Lord’s army.” At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence.“ I am at your command,” Joshua said.“ What do you want your servant to do?”

“ Neither,” he replied.“ I have now come as commander of the LORD’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in homage and asked him,“ What does my lord want to say to his servant?”

He said,“ No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him,“ What has my lord to say to his servant?”

So He said,“ No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him,“ What does my Lord say to His servant?”

And he said, Nay; but as prince of the host of Jehovah am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

“ Neither,” He replied.“ I have now come as commander of the Lord’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in worship and asked Him,“ What does my Lord want to say to His servant?”

And he said, Nay; but[ as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

He answered,“ Truly I am the commander of the LORD’s army. Now I have arrived!” Joshua bowed down with his face to the ground and asked,“ What does my master want to say to his servant?”

He said,“ No; but I have come now as commander of Yahweh’s army.” Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshiped, and asked him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”

Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, (niv)

But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? (niv)

For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. (niv)
