“ Neither,” he replied,“ but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him,“ What message does my Lord have for his servant?”

那人答道：“都不是，我来是做耶和华军队的统帅。”约书亚就俯伏下拜说：“我主，有什么话要吩咐仆人？”

那人回答：“不是的；我现在来是作耶和华军队的元帅。”约书亚就脸伏在地，向他下拜，对他说：“我主有什么事要吩咐仆人呢？”

那人答道：「都不是，我來是做耶和華軍隊的統帥。」約書亞就俯伏下拜說：「我主，有什麼話要吩咐僕人？」

曰、非也、我來為耶和華軍長、約書亞遂伏地拜曰、我主諭僕何詞、

曰、不然、我為耶和華軍長、故至此。約書亞俯伏拜曰、主諭僕何詞。

曰、不然、我來欲為主軍之大帥、或作我乃主軍之大帥適至約書亞面伏於地、拜曰、我主以何命命僕、

“ I am not on either side,” he replied.“ I have come as the commander of the Lord’ s army.” Then Joshua fell with his face to the ground. He asked the man,“ What message does my Lord have for me?”

And he said,“ No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”

“ Neither one,” he replied.“ I am the commander of the Lord’s army.” At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence.“ I am at your command,” Joshua said.“ What do you want your servant to do?”

“ Neither,” he replied.“ I have now come as commander of the LORD’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in homage and asked him,“ What does my lord want to say to his servant?”

He said,“ No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him,“ What has my lord to say to his servant?”

So He said,“ No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him,“ What does my Lord say to His servant?”

And he said, Nay; but as prince of the host of Jehovah am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

“ Neither,” He replied.“ I have now come as commander of the Lord’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in worship and asked Him,“ What does my Lord want to say to His servant?”

And he said, Nay; but[ as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

He answered,“ Truly I am the commander of the LORD’s army. Now I have arrived!” Joshua bowed down with his face to the ground and asked,“ What does my master want to say to his servant?”

He said,“ No; but I have come now as commander of Yahweh’s army.” Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshiped, and asked him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”

Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,

“ At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people— everyone whose name is found written in the book— will be delivered.

See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence.But Peter made him get up.“ Stand up,” he said,“ I am only a man myself.”

David himself declares in the Book of Psalms:“‘ The Lord said to my Lord:“ Sit at my right hand

“ Get away from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once.” And they fell facedown.

Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.

So Eli told Samuel,“ Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say,‘ Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times,“ Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said,“ Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

Moses said to the Lord,“ Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself,“ Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”

“ Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

But Moses said,“ Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

“ See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.

But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

The Lord says to my lord:“ Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and cried out,“ O God, the God who gives breath to all living things, will you be angry with the entire assembly when only one man sins?”
