The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate the produce of Canaan.

以色列人食瑪拿歷四十年、至入可居之地、彼食瑪拿至入迦南境、

善人遺業子孫、惡人貲財、存為善人所用、

昔主爾之天主誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各、賜爾以地、既導爾入、使爾得非爾所建廣大且美之城邑、非爾所充充以嘉物之宅第、非爾所鑿己鑿之井、非爾所植之葡萄園、油果樹、爾食之而飽、

主又賜聖善之神以訓之、仍賜瑪拿、不絕於其口、賜之水飲、以止其渴、歷四十年、主養之於野、無所缺乏、其衣不敝、其足不腫、

緣此主天主如是云、我僕得食、惟爾饑餓、我僕得飲、惟爾煩渴、我僕喜樂、惟爾愧怍、我僕心暢謳歌、惟爾心憂哀哭、

彼不復饑、不復渴、烈日與炎熱不得而傷之、蓋寶座中之羔必牧之、導至活水之源、彼目流淚、天主盡拭之、

我遣爾穫所未勞者、他人勞之、爾繼其勞也、○
