你們必須先將這些祭物獻給你們的上帝後，才可以吃餅、烘烤的穀物和新鮮穗子。不論住在哪裡，你們都要世代遵守這永遠不變的律例。

在節期的七天之內，你們只可以吃無酵餅，到了第七天，你們要為耶和華守節期。七天之內要吃無酵餅，你們境內不得有酵或是帶酵的東西。

從一月十五日開始是耶和華的無酵節，一連七天你們必須吃無酵餅。

從一月十四日晚上開始，直到二十一日晚上，你們都要吃無酵餅。在這七天內，你們屋裡不能有酵。任何人若吃了有酵的東西，不論他是寄居者還是本地人，要將他從以色列會眾中剷除。無論你們住在哪裡都要吃無酵餅，不能吃有酵的食物。」
