and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

以色列人就照约书亚所吩咐的做了。他们按以色列人支派的数目，从约旦河中取了十二块石头，正如耶和华所吩咐约书亚的。他们把石头带过去，到他们所住宿的地方，就放在那里。

当抬耶和华全地之主约柜的祭司，脚掌踏入约旦河水里的时候，约旦河的水，就是从上往下流的水，必然中断，竖立成垒。”

撒母耳拿一块石头立在米斯巴和善的中间，给石头起名叫以便‧以谢，说：“到如今耶和华都帮助我们。”

耶和华在他的圣殿里，耶和华在天上的宝座上；他的眼睛察看，他的眼目察验世人。

我所立为柱子的这块石头必作上帝的殿；凡你所赐给我的，我必将十分之一献给你。”

耶稣回答：“我告诉你们，若是这些人闭口不说，石头也要呼叫起来。”

约书亚对众百姓说：“看哪，这石头可以向我们作见证，因为它听见了耶和华所吩咐我们的一切话；这石头将向你们作见证，免得你们背叛你们的上帝。”

我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华！不可忘记他一切的恩惠！

摩西和以色列的众长老吩咐百姓说：“你们要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切诫命。你们过了约旦河，到耶和华—你上帝所赐给你的地，当日要竖立几块大石头，涂上石灰。当你过了河，进入耶和华—你上帝所赐给你流奶与蜜之地，正如耶和华—你列祖的上帝所应许你的，你要把这律法的一切话写在石头上。你们过了约旦河，就要在基利心山上照我今日所吩咐的，把这些石头竖立起来，涂上石灰。你在那里要为耶和华—你的上帝筑一座石坛，却不可动用铁器在石头上。要用没有凿过的石头筑耶和华—你上帝的坛，在坛上将燔祭献给耶和华—你的上帝，又要献平安祭，在那里吃，在耶和华—你的上帝面前欢乐。你要将这律法的一切话清楚地写在石头上。”摩西和利未家的祭司吩咐以色列众人说：“以色列啊，你要静默倾听！你今日已成为耶和华—你上帝的子民了。你要听从耶和华—你上帝的话，遵行他的诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。”当日，摩西吩咐百姓说：“你们过了约旦河，西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟和便雅悯等支派的人要站在基利心山上为百姓祝福。吕便、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但和拿弗他利等支派的人要站在以巴路山上宣布诅咒。利未人要大声对以色列众人说：“‘凡制造耶和华所憎恶的偶像，无论是雕刻的，是铸造的，就是工匠用手造的，或暗中设置的，这人必受诅咒！’众百姓要回应说：‘阿们！’“‘轻慢父母的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘挪移邻舍地界的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘引领瞎子走错路的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘对寄居的、孤儿和寡妇屈枉正直的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与继母同寝的，必受诅咒！因为他掀开父亲衣服的下边。’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与兽交合的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与同父异母，或同母异父的姊妹同寝的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与岳母同寝的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘暗中击杀邻舍的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘受贿赂击杀人而流无辜之血的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘不坚守遵行这律法之话的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’”
