and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

以色列人就照約書亞所吩咐的做了。他們按以色列人支派的數目，從約旦河中取了十二塊石頭，正如耶和華所吩咐約書亞的。他們把石頭帶過去，到他們所住宿的地方，就放在那裏。

當抬耶和華全地之主約櫃的祭司，腳掌踏入約旦河水裏的時候，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然中斷，豎立成壘。」

撒母耳拿一塊石頭立在米斯巴和善的中間，給石頭起名叫以便‧以謝，說：「到如今耶和華都幫助我們。」

耶和華在他的聖殿裏，耶和華在天上的寶座上；他的眼睛察看，他的眼目察驗世人。

我所立為柱子的這塊石頭必作神的殿；凡你所賜給我的，我必將十分之一獻給你。」

耶穌回答：「我告訴你們，若是這些人閉口不說，石頭也要呼叫起來。」

約書亞對眾百姓說：「看哪，這石頭可以向我們作見證，因為它聽見了耶和華所吩咐我們的一切話；這石頭將向你們作見證，免得你們背叛你們的神。」

我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華！不可忘記他一切的恩惠！

摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。你們過了約旦河，到耶和華－你神所賜給你的地，當日要豎立幾塊大石頭，塗上石灰。當你過了河，進入耶和華－你神所賜給你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華－你列祖的神所應許你的，你要把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你們過了約旦河，就要在基利心山上照我今日所吩咐的，把這些石頭豎立起來，塗上石灰。你在那裏要為耶和華－你的神築一座石壇，卻不可動用鐵器在石頭上。要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華－你神的壇，在壇上將燔祭獻給耶和華－你的神，又要獻平安祭，在那裏吃，在耶和華－你的神面前歡樂。你要將這律法的一切話清楚地寫在石頭上。」摩西和利未家的祭司吩咐以色列眾人說：「以色列啊，你要靜默傾聽！你今日已成為耶和華－你神的子民了。你要聽從耶和華－你神的話，遵行他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。」當日，摩西吩咐百姓說：「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟和便雅憫等支派的人要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。呂便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但和拿弗他利等支派的人要站在以巴路山上宣佈詛咒。利未人要大聲對以色列眾人說：「『凡製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，無論是雕刻的，是鑄造的，就是工匠用手造的，或暗中設置的，這人必受詛咒！』眾百姓要回應說：『阿們！』「『輕慢父母的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『引領瞎子走錯路的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『對寄居的、孤兒和寡婦屈枉正直的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與繼母同寢的，必受詛咒！因為他掀開父親衣服的下邊。』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與獸交合的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與同父異母，或同母異父的姊妹同寢的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『與岳母同寢的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『暗中擊殺鄰舍的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『受賄賂擊殺人而流無辜之血的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』「『不堅守遵行這律法之話的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』」
