and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

Tell them,‘ Take twelve stones from the very place where the priests are standing in the middle of the Jordan. Carry them out and pile them up at the place where you will camp tonight.’”

正月初十日，百姓從約旦河裏上來，就在吉甲，在耶利哥的東邊安營。他們從約旦河中取來的那十二塊石頭，約書亞就立在吉甲，

以色列人就照約書亞所吩咐的，按着以色列人支派的數目，從約旦河中取了十二塊石頭，都遵耶和華所吩咐約書亞的行了。他們把石頭帶過去，到他們所住宿的地方，就放在那裏。

等到擡普天下主耶和華約櫃的祭司把腳站在約旦河水裏，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然斷絕，立起成壘。」

撒母耳將一塊石頭立在米斯巴和善的中間，給石頭起名叫以便以謝，說：「到如今耶和華都幫助我們。」

耶和華在他的聖殿裏；耶和華的寶座在天上；他的慧眼察看世人。

我所立為柱子的石頭也必作神的殿；凡你所賜給我的，我必將十分之一獻給你。」

耶穌說：「我告訴你們，若是他們閉口不說，這些石頭必要呼叫起來。」

約書亞對百姓說：「看哪，這石頭可以向我們作見證；因為是聽見了耶和華所吩咐我們的一切話，倘或你們背棄你們的神，這石頭就可以向你們作見證。」

我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華！不可忘記他的一切恩惠！

摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。你們過約旦河，到了耶和華－你神所賜給你的地，當天要立起幾塊大石頭，墁上石灰，把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你過了河，可以進入耶和華－你神所賜你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華－你列祖之神所應許你的。你們過了約旦河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，將這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。在那裏要為耶和華－你的神築一座石壇；在石頭上不可動鐵器。要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華－你神的壇，在壇上要將燔祭獻給耶和華－你的神。又要獻平安祭，且在那裏吃，在耶和華－你的神面前歡樂。你要將這律法的一切話明明地寫在石頭上。」摩西和祭司利未人曉諭以色列眾人說：「以色列啊，要默默靜聽。你今日成為耶和華－你神的百姓了。所以要聽從耶和華－你神的話，遵行他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。」當日，摩西囑咐百姓說：「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫六個支派的人都要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。呂便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但、拿弗他利六個支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒詛。利未人要向以色列眾人高聲說：「『有人製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，或雕刻，或鑄造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中設立，那人必受咒詛！』百姓都要答應說：『阿們！』「『輕慢父母的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『使瞎子走差路的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『向寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與繼母行淫的，必受咒詛！因為掀開他父親的衣襟。』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與異母同父，或異父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『與岳母行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『暗中殺人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『受賄賂害死無辜之人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』「『不堅守遵行這律法言語的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』」
