and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.”

and command them, saying,‘ Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”

以色列人就照约书亚的吩咐，也就是照耶和华对约书亚的吩咐，按以色列人支派的数目，从约旦河中取了十二块石头，搬来放在住宿的地方。

当祭司抬着天下之主——耶和华的约柜一踏进约旦河，往下流的河水必会止住，形成一道水堤。”

撒母耳拿了一块石头放在米斯巴和善的中间，称之为以便以谢，说：“耶和华到如今都帮助我们。”

耶和华在祂的圣殿里，坐在天上的宝座上，放眼巡视，察看世人。

我立为柱子的这块石头必成为上帝的殿。凡你赐给我的，我必把十分之一献给你。”

耶稣说：“我告诉你们，如果他们闭口不言，这些石头都要呼喊了！”

然后，他对民众说：“看啊，这块石头可以为我们作证，它听到了耶和华所吩咐我们的话。如果你们背弃上帝，它必作证。”

我的心啊，要称颂耶和华，不要忘记祂的一切恩惠。

摩西率以色列众长老吩咐民众说：“你们要遵守我今天吩咐你们的一切诫命。你们渡过约旦河、进入你们的上帝耶和华应许给你们的土地那天，要竖立几块大石，涂上石灰。你们渡过约旦河、进入你们祖先的上帝耶和华应许要赐给你们的奶蜜之乡后，要把这律法一字不漏地写在大石上。你们渡过约旦河后，要照我今日的吩咐在以巴路山上竖立这些石头，涂上石灰。要在那里为你们的上帝耶和华筑一座石坛，不要用铁器凿刻石头。要用未凿过的石头为你们的上帝耶和华筑一座坛，在上面献燔祭给祂；又要献上平安祭，在祂面前吃喝快乐。你们要把这律法一字不漏、清清楚楚地写在那几块大石上。”摩西率利未祭司对全体以色列人说：“以色列人啊，要肃静聆听！你们今天已成为你们上帝耶和华的子民。你们要听从祂，遵守祂今天借我吩咐你们的诫命和律例。”那天，摩西吩咐民众说：“你们渡过约旦河后，西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟和便雅悯支派要站在基利心山上为民众祝福；吕便、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但和拿弗他利支派要站在以巴路山上宣告咒诅。利未人要对所有以色列人高声说，‘凡雕刻或铸造耶和华所憎恶的神像，并偷偷供奉的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡不尊敬父母的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡挪移邻居界石的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡故意带领盲人走错路的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘不公正地对待寄居者和孤儿寡妇的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与父亲的妻妾乱伦，使父亲蒙羞的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与兽交合的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与同父或同母姊妹乱伦的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡与岳母乱伦的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡暗杀邻居的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡因收受贿赂而杀害无辜的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’‘凡不遵行这律法的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’
