使地上億兆、皆知耶和華手有巨能、俾爾寅畏爾上帝耶和華、至於永世、

於是天下億兆知耶和華之巨能、爾當畏爾上帝耶和華、歷世靡暨。

使天下萬民、皆知主之力極大、又使爾曹敬畏主爾之天主、至於永遠、

He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”

He did it so that all the nations on earth would know that he is powerful. He did it so that you would always have respect for the Lord your God.”

You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.

Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power known.

Israel saw the great work which Yahweh did to the Egyptians, and the people feared Yahweh; and they believed in Yahweh and in his servant Moses.

Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.

Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us, I beg you, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Yahweh, are God alone.”

Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!

but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,

that you might fear Yahweh your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you— you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,

Today, Yahweh will deliver you into my hand. I will strike you, and take your head from off you. I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines today to the birds of the sky, and to the wild animals of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,

There is no one like you, Yahweh. You are great, and your name is great in might.Who shouldn’t fear you, King of the nations? For it belongs to you. Because among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is no one like you.

a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

“ I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel;“ for he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed. His dominion will be even to the end.He delivers and rescues. He works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

He returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him; and he said,“ See now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel. Now therefore, please take a gift from your servant.”

Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you won’t sin.”

I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him,“ What are you doing?”

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed, the smell of fire wasn’t even on them.Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.
