使天下萬民、皆知主之力極大、又使爾曹敬畏主爾之天主、至於永遠、

He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”

Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

But indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name throughout the earth.

I issue a decree that in all the realm of my kingdom people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion will be forever.He rescues, saves, and performs signs and miracles In heaven and on earth, He who has also rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Then he returned to the man of God with all his company, and came and stood before him. And he said,“ Behold now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, except in Israel; so please accept a gift from your servant now.”

However, Moses said to the people,“ Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you will not sin.”

I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts, so that they will not turn away from Me.

“ But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are of no account, But He does according to His will among the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can fend off His hand Or say to Him,‘ What have You done?’

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he said,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego came out of the middle of the fire.The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.Nebuchadnezzar responded and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or population of any language that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego shall be torn limb from limb and their houses made a rubbish heap, because there is no other god who is able to save in this way.”

So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will be afraid of you.
