That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it[ is] mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

使天下萬民、皆知主之力極大、又使爾曹敬畏主爾之天主、至於永遠、

He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand,[ and] high is thy right hand.

Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be[ as] still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over,[ which] thou hast purchased.

Both riches and honour[ come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand[ is] power and might; and in thine hand[ it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.

And in very deed for this[ cause] have I raised thee up, for to shew[ in] thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.Thou,[ even] thou,[ art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

Forasmuch as[ there is] none like unto thee, O LORD; thou[ art] great, and thy name[ is] great in might.Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise[ men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms,[ there is] none like unto thee.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all[ them that are] about him.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he[ is] the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom[ that] which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion[ shall be even] unto the end.He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that[ there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion[ is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom[ is] from generation to generation:And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace,[ and] spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come[ hither]. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.[ Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed[ be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
