以色列人見主向伊及人所施之大能、或作向伊及人所行之大事遂敬畏主、信服主與主之僕摩西、

驚駭恐懼臨及其身、主顯大能、彼眾如石寂然不動、待主之民經行、待主所選之民經行、

今求主我之天主、救我脫於亞述王手、使天下萬國、咸知主獨為天主、○

富與貴由主而來、主治萬物、主有巨能大力、人之昌大強盛、皆主所使、

然我使爾立、欲顯我之大能以示爾、使我名傳於天下、或作但因我欲顯我之大能以示爾使我名傳於天下故至今我使爾立

使爾與子孫畢生敬畏主爾之天主、守其一切律例誡命、即我所命爾者、致爾壽命綿長、

雅各之天主大聲叱咤、車馬即皆傾倒、主是可畏、主震怒時、誰能立於主前、主自天使人聽審判、地上人悉驚懼緘默、

今日主以爾付於我手、我將擊爾、斬爾首級、今日我以非利士軍旅之屍、給空中鳥與地上獸、使天下萬民、天下萬民原文作全地咸知以色列中有天主、

主歟、無有可比主者、主為至大、施展大能、彰顯大名、萬民之王乎、或作皇皇萬民之主乎孰能不畏主、畏主乃所當然、列邦聖賢、天下萬國、無可比主、

在諸聖大會中、天主甚可畏、在天主之四圍者、皆敬畏天主之威嚴、

我降詔命、我所統轄全國之人民、當欽崇敬畏但以理之天主、當欽崇敬畏但以理之天主原文作當在但以理之天主前戰慄畏懼因彼乃永生長存之天主、其國永遠不廢、其權恆存靡暨、能救人援人、在天在地顯異跡、行奇事、曾救但以理、不為獅所害、不為獅所害或作免受獅之害○

遂與眾從者返神人之宅、立於其前、曰、今我知天下惟以色列中有天主、今求爾受禮物於僕、

摩西謂民曰、毋懼、蓋天主降臨為試爾、又為使爾恆敬畏之、俾爾不至犯罪、

我與之必立永約、不復棄之、施以恩惠、使彼存敬畏我之心、不復背逆我、

時日已滿、我尼布甲尼撒舉目仰天、靈性靈性或作靈慧下同復歸於我、遂祝謝至上者、讚揚頌美永生者、其權永世恆存、其國至於世世、世間萬民、視若虛無、天上萬軍、世上萬民、隨意而待、無能禦之、無能詰之曰、爾何為、

尼布甲尼撒遂近窰門、曰、沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、至上天主之僕可出、於是沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、俱從火出、諸方伯、大員、牧伯與王之議士咸集、觀斯三人、火未傷其身、首髮不焦、衣不變色、火燎之臭、亦未之有、尼布甲尼撒遂曰、當頌美沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌之天主、因遣其使者救賴之之僕、彼能舍身、不遵王命、在其天主外、不拜他神、或作尼布甲尼撒曰沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌舍身不遵王命在彼之天主以外不拜他神彼之天主當讚美因遣使者救賴之之僕我今頒詔命、諸民、諸國、諸族、凡以言褻瀆沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌之天主、必剖其身、使其宅第變為糞場、蓋無他神、能救人若此、

天下萬民、將知爾得稱為主之選民、或作見爾歸在主之名下則畏懼爾、
