使天下萬民、皆知主之力極大、又使爾曹敬畏主爾之天主、至於永遠、

He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”

He did it so that all the nations on earth would know that he is powerful. He did it so that you would always have respect for the Lord your God.”

You have a mighty arm; your hand is powerful; your right hand is lifted high.

Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his power known.

When Israel saw the great power that the LORD used against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and believed in him and in his servant Moses.

terror and dread will fall on them. They will be as still as a stone because of your powerful arm until your people pass by, LORD, until the people whom you purchased pass by.

Now, LORD our God, please save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are God— you alone.

Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.

However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you my power and to make my name known on the whole earth.

Do this so that you may fear the LORD your God all the days of your life by keeping all his statutes and commands I am giving you, your son, and your grandson, and so that you may have a long life.

At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse lay still.And you— you are to be feared. When you are angry, who can stand before you?From heaven you pronounced judgment. The earth feared and grew quiet

Today, the LORD will hand you over to me. Today, I’ll strike you down, remove your head, and give the corpses of the Philistine camp to the birds of the sky and the wild creatures of the earth. Then all the world will know that Israel has a God,

LORD, there is no one like you. You are great; your name is great in power.Who should not fear you, King of the nations? It is what you deserve. For among all the wise people of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.

God is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, more awe-inspiring than all who surround him.

I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For he is the living God, and he endures forever; his kingdom will never be destroyed, and his dominion has no end.He rescues and delivers; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth, for he has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Then Naaman and his whole company went back to the man of God, stood before him, and declared,“ I know there’s no God in the whole world except in Israel. Therefore, please accept a gift from your servant.”

Moses responded to the people,“ Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, so that you will fear him and will not sin.”

“ I will make a permanent covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of me in their hearts so they will never again turn away from me.

But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified him who lives forever: For his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the door of the furnace of blazing fire and called,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God— come out!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.When the satraps, prefects, governors, and the king’s advisers gathered around, they saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men: not a hair of their heads was singed, their robes were unaffected, and there was no smell of fire on them.Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel and rescued his servants who trusted in him. They violated the king’s command and risked their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.Therefore I issue a decree that anyone of any people, nation, or language who says anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be torn limb from limb and his house made a garbage dump. For there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you bear the LORD’s name, and they will stand in awe of you.
