And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What[ mean] these stones?

並對以色列人說：「以後，你們的子孫問你們這堆石頭是什麼意思，

約書亞對以色列人說：“如果日後你們的子孫問他們的父親說：‘這些石頭是甚麼意思？’

對以色列人說：『日後你們的子孫若問他們父親說：「這些石頭甚麼意思？」

謂以色列人曰、異日爾之子孫、問其祖父曰、此石何意、

告以色列族曰、越至後世、爾之子孫、倘詰爾曰、立石何意。

謂以色列人曰、日後倘爾子孫問長上曰、此石何意、

He said to the Israelites,“ In the future when your descendants ask their parents,‘ What do these stones mean?’

Then he spoke to the Israelites. He said,“ In days to come, your children after you will ask their parents,‘ What do these stones mean?’

And he said to the people of Israel,“ When your children ask their fathers in times to come,‘ What do these stones mean?’

Then Joshua said to the Israelites,“ In the future your children will ask,‘ What do these stones mean?’

and he said to the Israelites,“ In the future, when your children ask their fathers,‘ What is the meaning of these stones?’

And he said to the sons of Israel,“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What are these stones?’

Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying:“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What are these stones?’

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

and he said to the Israelites,“ In the future, when your children ask their fathers,‘ What is the meaning of these stones?’

He told the Israelites,“ When your children someday ask their fathers,‘ What do these stones represent?’

He spoke to the children of Israel, saying,“ When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying,‘ What do these stones mean?’

That this may be a sign among you,[ that] when your children ask[ their fathers] in time to come, saying, What[ mean] ye by these stones?

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.And[ men] shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
