So Joshua commanded the priests, saying,“ Come up from the Jordan.”

So Joshua commanded the priests,“ Come up out of the Jordan.”

“ Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every crawling thing that crawls on the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.

Now when day came, the chief magistrates sent their officers, saying,“ Release those men.”And the jailer reported these words to Paul, saying,“ The chief magistrates have sent word that you be released. So come out now and go in peace.”But Paul said to them,“ After beating us in public without due process— men who are Romans— they threw us into prison; and now they are releasing us secretly? No indeed! On the contrary, let them come in person and lead us out.”The officers reported these words to the chief magistrates. And they became fearful when they heard that they were Romans,and they came and pleaded with them, and when they had led them out, they repeatedly asked them to leave the city.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he said,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego came out of the middle of the fire.

When they had struck them with many blows, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to guard them securely;
