那從上邊往下流的水便從極遠之處、在亞當、在撒拉但旁邊的城那裏站住，立成了一壘，而那向亞拉巴海、就是鹽海、往下流的水便全然截斷；於是人民就在耶利哥對面過去了。

自上而下之水、遂立為堆、相離甚遠、在撒拉但旁之亞當邑、其流於亞拉巴鹽海之水悉絕、民乃由耶利哥相對之處而濟、

時溯流之水、驟行泛起、濤若堆立、離撒利但旁之亞當邑甚遠、下流之水、至鹽海谷、其流已斷、故耶利哥相向之所、民得過焉。

則自上而下之水、壁立若堆、離撒拉坦旁之亞當邑甚遠、其向亞拉巴亞拉巴或作平原海即鹽海、所流之水悉流絕、民遂由耶利哥相對之處過河、

the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah( that is, the Dead Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

Right away the water coming down the river stopped flowing. It piled up far away at a town called Adam near Zarethan. The water flowing down to the Dead Sea was completely cut off. So the people went across the Jordan River opposite Jericho.

the waters coming down from above stood and rose up in a heap very far away, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan, and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho.

the water above that point began backing up a great distance away at a town called Adam, which is near Zarethan. And the water below that point flowed on to the Dead Sea until the riverbed was dry. Then all the people crossed over near the town of Jericho.

and the water flowing downstream stood still, rising up in a mass that extended as far as Adam, a city next to Zarethan. The water flowing downstream into the Sea of the Arabah— the Dead Sea— was completely cut off, and the people crossed opposite Jericho.

That the waters which came down from above stood[ and] rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that[ is] beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain,[ even] the salt sea, failed,[ and] were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. It piled up far upstream at Adam( the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah( the Salt Sea). The people crossed the river opposite Jericho.

The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.

It shall be that when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of Yahweh, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan will be cut off. The waters that come down from above shall stand in one heap.”

All these joined together in the valley of Siddim( also called the Salt Sea).

Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth Shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth Shean to Abel Meholah, as far as beyond Jokmeam;

then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.

The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.

These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suf, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, distressed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea.When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying,“ It’s a ghost!” and they cried out for fear.But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”Peter answered him and said,“ Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.”He said,“ Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus.But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying,“ Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him,“ You of little faith, why did you doubt?”When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased.Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying,“ You are truly the Son of God!”

Yahweh sat enthroned at the Flood. Yes, Yahweh sits as King forever.

the Arabah also, and the Jordan and its border, from Chinnereth even to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward.

He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.The men marveled, saying,“ What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.

Their south border was from the uttermost part of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looks southward;

Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.

He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him.
