自上而下之水、遂立為堆、相離甚遠、在撒拉但旁之亞當邑、其流於亞拉巴鹽海之水悉絕、民乃由耶利哥相對之處而濟、

時溯流之水、驟行泛起、濤若堆立、離撒利但旁之亞當邑甚遠、下流之水、至鹽海谷、其流已斷、故耶利哥相向之所、民得過焉。

則自上而下之水、壁立若堆、離撒拉坦旁之亞當邑甚遠、其向亞拉巴亞拉巴或作平原海即鹽海、所流之水悉流絕、民遂由耶利哥相對之處過河、

the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah( that is, the Dead Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

Right away the water coming down the river stopped flowing. It piled up far away at a town called Adam near Zarethan. The water flowing down to the Dead Sea was completely cut off. So the people went across the Jordan River opposite Jericho.

The king had them cast in clay molds in the Jordan Valley between Succoth and Zarethan.

When the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the LORD, the Lord of the whole earth, come to rest in the Jordan’s water, its water will be cut off. The water flowing downstream will stand up in a mass.”

All of these came as allies to the Siddim Valley( that is, the Dead Sea).

Baana son of Ahilud, in Taanach, Megiddo, and all Beth-shean which is beside Zarethan below Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as the other side of Jokmeam;

Your southern side will be from the Wilderness of Zin along the boundary of Edom. Your southern border on the east will begin at the east end of the Dead Sea.

The sea looked and fled; the Jordan turned back.

These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel across the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Di-zahab.

Meanwhile, the boat was already some distance from land, battered by the waves, because the wind was against them.Jesus came toward them walking on the sea very early in the morning.When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified.“ It’s a ghost!” they said, and they cried out in fear.Immediately Jesus spoke to them.“ Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”“ Lord, if it’s you,” Peter answered him,“ command me to come to you on the water.”He said,“ Come.” And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus.But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out,“ Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, caught hold of him, and said to him,“ You of little faith, why did you doubt?”When they got into the boat, the wind ceased.Then those in the boat worshiped him and said,“ Truly you are the Son of God.”

The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned, King forever.

The Arabah and Jordan are also borders from Chinnereth as far as the Sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah on the east.

He said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.The men were amazed and asked,“ What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”

You opened up springs and streams; you dried up ever-flowing rivers.

Their southern border began at the tip of the Dead Sea on the south bay

Your way went through the sea and your path through the vast water, but your footprints were unseen.

He turned the sea into dry land, and they crossed the river on foot. There we rejoiced in him.
