Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge,

The water of the Jordan was going over its banks. It always does that at the time the crops are being gathered. The priests came to the river. Their feet touched the water’s edge.

and as soon as those bearing the ark had come as far as the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest),

It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped down into the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),

and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),

and when they that bare the ark were come unto the Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brink of the water( for the Jordan overfloweth all its banks all the time of harvest),

Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan, their feet touched the water at its edge

And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water,( for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

When the ones carrying the ark reached the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark touched the surface of the water–( the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest time)–

and when those who bore the ark had come to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark had dipped in the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the time of harvest),

一月，约旦河水涨过两岸的时候，他们渡到河对岸，把住在平原的人打得东奔西逃。

耶和华说：“如果你与步行的人竞走，尚且感到疲乏，又怎能与马赛跑呢？如果你在宽阔之地尚且跌倒，在约旦河边的丛林中又会怎样呢？

看啊，我必在瞬间把以东人赶离家园，如约旦河边丛林中跳出的狮子赶散草场的羊群。我要派我拣选的人统治这地方。谁能与我相比？谁能与我较量？哪位首领能抵挡我？”

抬耶和华约柜的祭司从河床上来，脚刚一踏上岸，约旦河的水立刻恢复了原状，像以往一样涨过两岸。

当祭司抬着天下之主——耶和华的约柜一踏进约旦河，往下流的河水必会止住，形成一道水堤。”

被困苦人的脚践踏，被贫穷人的足踩踏。”

“你们要在亚笔月为你们的上帝耶和华守逾越节，因为祂在这个月的一个晚上带领你们离开了埃及。你们要在你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所，把牛羊作为逾越节的祭牲献给祂。吃祭牲的时候，不可吃有酵的饼，七天之内要吃无酵饼，即忆苦饼，以便你们一生谨记离开埃及的日子，因为当时你们离开得很仓促。那七天之内，你们境内不可有酵母。第一天傍晚献的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。在你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们的各城中，你们不可随便献逾越节的祭牲，而是要在傍晚日落时分，即你们离开埃及的时候，到你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所献逾越节的祭牲。你们要在那里煮祭肉吃，第二天早晨可以返回自己的帐篷。在随后的六天之内，你们要吃无酵饼。第七天，要举行庄严的聚会，敬拜你们的上帝耶和华。那一天你们不可做工。“从收割那天开始算起，你们要算出七周的时间。

以色列人都在耶利哥平原上的吉甲扎营，并于一月十四日傍晚在那里守逾越节。第二天他们就吃当地的谷物，吃无酵饼和烤麦穗。他们吃了当地出产后的第二天，吗哪便不再降下，以色列人再没有吗哪吃了。那一年他们开始吃迦南的出产。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“你们进入耶和华将要赐给你们的那片土地以后，每逢庄稼初熟之时，你们要带一捆初熟的谷物交给祭司。祭司要在安息日后第一天把那捆谷物在耶和华面前摇一摇，你们所献的就会得到悦纳。在献谷物那天，你们要献给耶和华一只毫无残疾、一岁的公羊羔作燔祭，同时要把两公斤调油的细面粉作素祭，一起献给耶和华作馨香的火祭，也要献一升酒作奠祭。你们必须先将这些祭物献给你们的上帝后，才可以吃饼、烘烤的谷物和新鲜穗子。不论住在哪里，你们都要世代遵守这永远不变的律例。“从安息日后第一天，即你们献上摇祭的那天算起，你们要数整整七周，一直数到第七个安息日后的第一天，共五十天。到那天，你们要把新收的谷物作为素祭献给耶和华。
