欲使爾知永生上帝左右爾、必於爾前驅逐迦南人、赫人、希未人、比哩洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩哩人、耶布士人。

約書亞又曰、爾中有永生天主、必於爾前驅逐迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、耶布斯人、爾必知之、

This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites.

You will soon know that the living God is among you. He will certainly drive out the people now living in the land. He’ll do it to make room for you. He’ll drive out the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites.

And Joshua said,“ Here is how you shall know that the living God is among you and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Perizzites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, and the Jebusites.

Today you will know that the living God is among you. He will surely drive out the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites ahead of you.

He said,“ You will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly dispossess before you the Canaanites, Hethites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites

And Joshua said,“ By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites:

And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God[ is] among you, and[ that] he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.

Joshua continued,“ This is how you will know the living God is among you and that he will truly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites.

Joshua said,“ By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite out from before you.

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land where you are entering to take possession of it, and He drives away many nations from before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,

And I will send an angel before you and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Then David said to the men who were standing by him,“ What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and rids Israel of the disgrace? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he has dared to defy the armies of the living God?”

Perhaps the Lord your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to taunt the living God, and will avenge the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’ ”

For who is there of humanity who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

For they themselves report about us as to the kind of reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or counted; And in the place Where it is said to them,“ You are not My people,” It will be said to them,“ You are the sons of the living God.”

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.And I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from you.I will not drive them out from you in a single year, so that the land will not become desolate and the animals of the field become too numerous for you.I will drive them out from you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the sons of Reuben, the sons of Gad, and to the sons of Manasseh,“ Today we know that the Lord is in our midst, because you have not committed this unfaithful act against the Lord; now you have saved the sons of Israel from the hand of the Lord.”

Then he named the place Massah and Meribah because of the quarrel of the sons of Israel, and because they tested the Lord, saying,“ Is the Lord among us, or not?”

I have previously said when I was present the second time, and though now absent I say in advance to those who have sinned in the past and to all the rest as well, that if I come again I will not spare anyone,since you are seeking proof of the Christ who speaks in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. The earth quakes at His wrath, And the nations cannot endure His indignation.

Then My anger will be kindled against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will find them; so they will say on that day,‘ Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have found us?’

And we have already believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.”

You with Your own hand drove out the nations; Then You planted them; You afflicted the peoples, Then You let them go free.For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them.

And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him,“ The Lord is with you, valiant warrior.”Then Gideon said to him,“ O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying,‘ Did the Lord not bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to Midian.”

As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age.Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the wrongdoing of the Amorite is not yet complete.”Now it came about, when the sun had set, that it was very dark, and behold, a smoking oven and a flaming torch appeared which passed between these pieces.On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:

And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who goes astray by an unintentional sin, making atonement for him so that he may be forgiven.You shall have one law for the native among the sons of Israel and for the stranger who resides among them, for one who does anything wrong unintentionally.But the person who does wrong defiantly, whether he is a native or a stranger, that one is blaspheming the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

The Lord has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. A wicked one is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion Selah

Then at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet approached and said,“ Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.Answer me, Lord, answer me, so that this people may know that You, Lord, are God, and that You have turned their heart back.”

But Micaiah said,“ If you actually return safely, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said,“ Listen, all you people!”

Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; everything came to pass.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
