When I brought your people out of Egypt, you came to the sea, and the Egyptians pursued them with chariots and horsemen as far as the Red Sea.

When I brought your people out, they came to the Red Sea. The people of Egypt chased them with chariots and with men on horses. They chased them all the way to the sea.

But when your ancestors arrived at the Red Sea, the Egyptians chased after you with chariots and charioteers.

And the people of Israel cried out to the Lord.They said to Moses,“ Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”And Moses said to the people,“ Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”The Lord said to Moses,“ Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to make for himself an everlasting name,who led them through the depths? Like a horse in the desert, they did not stumble.

to him who divided the Red Sea in two, for his steadfast love endures forever;and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for his steadfast love endures forever;but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;

And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.

For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.

He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap.

And the people of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children.

And you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters.

This man led them out, performing wonders and signs in Egypt and at the Red Sea and in the wilderness for forty years.
