他派遣了他的仆人摩西，以及他所拣选的亚伦；两人将他的神迹行在埃及人中间，将奇事行在含族之地。他发出黑暗，使那地黑暗；谁也没有违背他的话。他把他们的水变成血，使他们的鱼都死了。他们的地上、甚至他们君王的内室，都爬满了青蛙。他一发话，成群的苍蝇就来，蚊虫遍满他们的全境。他在他们的全境降下冰雹为雨、闪电为火。他击打他们的葡萄树和无花果树，打断他们境内的树木。他一发话，蝗虫和蚂蚱就来，数不胜数，吃尽他们地上的一切植物，吃尽他们土地的出产。他又击杀他们地上所有的长子，就是他们强壮时头生的。

当称谢那击杀埃及头生的，因他的慈爱永远长存！
