亚伦的儿子以利亚撒娶了普铁的一个女儿为妻，她给他生了非尼哈。这是利未人的家长，都按着他们的家。

他必见智慧人死，又见愚顽人和畜类人一同灭亡，将他们的财货留给别人。

如果这样，他从创世以来，就必多次受苦了。但如今在这末世显现一次，把自己献为祭，好除掉罪。按着定命，人人都有一死，死后且有审判。

你们的列祖在哪里呢？那些先知能永远存活吗？

以色列人在迦南地所得的产业，就是祭司以利亚撒和嫩的儿子约书亚，并以色列各支派的族长所分给他们的，都记在下面，

“大卫在世的时候遵行了神的旨意，就睡了，归到他祖宗那里，已见朽坏；
