“ See!” he said to all the people.“ This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the Lord has said to us. It will be a witness against you if you are untrue to your God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord that he spoke to us. Therefore it shall be a witness against you, lest you deal falsely with your God.”

Joshua said to all the people,“ This stone has heard everything the Lord said to us. It will be a witness to testify against you if you go back on your word to God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ You see this stone— it will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the LORD said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”

Then Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, because it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us; so it shall be a witness against you, so that you do not deny your God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us. It shall therefore be a witness to you, lest you deny your God.”

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us; for it hath heard all the words of Jehovah which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness against you, lest ye deny your God.

And Joshua said to all the people,“ You see this stone— it will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the Lord said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

Joshua said to all the people,“ Look, this stone will be a witness against you, for it has heard everything the LORD said to us. It will be a witness against you if you deny your God.”

Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all Yahweh’s words which he spoke to us. It shall be therefore a witness against you, lest you deny your God.”

耶穌回答：「我告訴你們，若是這些人閉口不說，石頭也要呼叫起來。」

呂便人和迦得人給這壇起了名，因為這壇在我們之間見證耶和華是神。

而是為你我之間和後代子孫之間作證據，好使我們也在耶和華面前獻我們的燔祭、平安祭和別樣的祭來事奉他，免得你們的子孫將來對我們的子孫說，你們在耶和華裏無份。』所以我們說：『將來他們若對我們，或對我們的子孫這樣說，我們就可以回答說：你們看，我們列祖所築的壇是耶和華壇的樣式，這並不是為獻燔祭，也不是為獻別樣的祭，而是作為你們和我們之間的證據。』

「把這律法書拿來，放在耶和華－你們神的約櫃旁，可以在那裏作指責你們的見證。

天哪，要聽！地啊，側耳而聽！因為耶和華說：「我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟悖逆我。

「諸天哪，要側耳聽我說話；願地聆聽我口中的言語。

因神降的災禍使我恐懼，因他的威嚴，我甚麼都不能。

我們若忍耐到底，也必和他一同作王。我們若不認他，他也必不認我們；我們縱然失信，他仍是可信的，因為他不能否認自己。

撒母耳拿一塊石頭立在米斯巴和善的中間，給石頭起名叫以便‧以謝，說：「到如今耶和華都幫助我們。」

凡在人面前不認我的，我在我天上的父面前也必不認他。」

免得我飽足了，就不認你，說：「耶和華是誰呢？」又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊，以致褻瀆我神的名。

當許多禍患災難臨到他們的時候，這首歌必在他們面前作見證，因為他們後裔的口必吟誦不忘。我未領他們到我所起誓應許之地以先，他們所懷的意念我都知道了。」

牆裏的石頭要呼叫，屋內的棟梁必應聲。

他們宣稱認識神，卻在行為上否認他；他們是可憎惡的，是悖逆的，不配做任何好事。

現在，來吧！讓我和你立約，作你我之間的證據。」雅各就拿一塊石頭立作柱子，對弟兄們說：「大家來堆積石頭。」他們拿石頭堆成一堆，於是在那裏，在石堆旁邊吃喝。拉班稱那石堆為伊迦爾‧撒哈杜他，雅各卻稱那石堆為迦累得。拉班說：「今日這石堆成為你我之間的證據。」因此這地方名叫迦累得，又叫米斯巴，因為他說：「我們彼此離別以後，願耶和華在你我中間鑒察。你若苦待我的女兒，或在我的女兒以外另娶妻，雖沒有人在場，你看，有神在你我中間作證。」拉班又對雅各說：「看哪，這石堆，看哪，這柱子，是我在你我中間所立的。這石堆是證據，這柱子也是證據。我必不越過這石堆去害你；你也不可越過這石堆和柱子來害我。

現在你們要寫下這首歌，教導以色列人，放在他們口中，使這首歌成為我指責以色列人的見證。

我今日呼天喚地向你作見證：我已經將生與死，祝福與詛咒，擺在你面前。所以你要揀選生命，好使你和你的後裔都得存活。

我今日呼天喚地向你們作見證，你們在過約旦河得為業的地上必迅速滅亡！你們在那地的日子必不長久，必全然滅絕。

我知道你的行為。看哪，我在你面前給你一個敞開的門，是沒有人能關的。我知道你有一點力量，也遵守我的道，沒有否認我的名。
