约书亚对众百姓说：“看哪，这石头可以向我们作见证，因为它听见了耶和华所吩咐我们的一切话；这石头将向你们作见证，免得你们背叛你们的神。”

然后，他对民众说：“看啊，这块石头可以为我们作证，它听到了耶和华所吩咐我们的话。如果你们背弃上帝，它必作证。”

“ See!” he said to all the people.“ This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the Lord has said to us. It will be a witness against you if you are untrue to your God.”

“ Look!” he said to all the people.“ This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the Lord has spoken to us. Suppose you aren’t faithful to your God. Then the stone will be a witness against you.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord that he spoke to us. Therefore it shall be a witness against you, lest you deal falsely with your God.”

Joshua said to all the people,“ This stone has heard everything the Lord said to us. It will be a witness to testify against you if you go back on your word to God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ You see this stone— it will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the LORD said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”

Then Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, because it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us; so it shall be a witness against you, so that you do not deny your God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us. It shall therefore be a witness to you, lest you deny your God.”

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us; for it hath heard all the words of Jehovah which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness against you, lest ye deny your God.

And Joshua said to all the people,“ You see this stone— it will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the Lord said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

Joshua said to all the people,“ Look, this stone will be a witness against you, for it has heard everything the LORD said to us. It will be a witness against you if you deny your God.”

Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all Yahweh’s words which he spoke to us. It shall be therefore a witness against you, lest you deny your God.”

耶稣回答：“我告诉你们，若是这些人闭口不说，石头也要呼叫起来。”

吕便人和迦得人给这坛起了名，因为这坛在我们之间见证耶和华是神。

而是为你我之间和后代子孙之间作证据，好使我们也在耶和华面前献我们的燔祭、平安祭和别样的祭来事奉他，免得你们的子孙将来对我们的子孙说，你们在耶和华里无份。’所以我们说：‘将来他们若对我们，或对我们的子孙这样说，我们就可以回答说：你们看，我们列祖所筑的坛是耶和华坛的样式，这并不是为献燔祭，也不是为献别样的祭，而是作为你们和我们之间的证据。’

“把这律法书拿来，放在耶和华—你们神的约柜旁，可以在那里作指责你们的见证。

天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

“诸天哪，要侧耳听我说话；愿地聆听我口中的言语。

因神降的灾祸使我恐惧，因他的威严，我什么都不能。

我们若忍耐到底，也必和他一同作王。我们若不认他，他也必不认我们；我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能否认自己。

撒母耳拿一块石头立在米斯巴和善的中间，给石头起名叫以便‧以谢，说：“到如今耶和华都帮助我们。”

凡在人面前不认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必不认他。”

免得我饱足了，就不认你，说：“耶和华是谁呢？”又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃，以致亵渎我神的名。

当许多祸患灾难临到他们的时候，这首歌必在他们面前作见证，因为他们后裔的口必吟诵不忘。我未领他们到我所起誓应许之地以先，他们所怀的意念我都知道了。”

墙里的石头要呼叫，屋内的栋梁必应声。

他们宣称认识神，却在行为上否认他；他们是可憎恶的，是悖逆的，不配做任何好事。

现在，来吧！让我和你立约，作你我之间的证据。”雅各就拿一块石头立作柱子，对弟兄们说：“大家来堆积石头。”他们拿石头堆成一堆，于是在那里，在石堆旁边吃喝。拉班称那石堆为伊迦尔‧撒哈杜他，雅各却称那石堆为迦累得。拉班说：“今日这石堆成为你我之间的证据。”因此这地方名叫迦累得，又叫米斯巴，因为他说：“我们彼此离别以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。你若苦待我的女儿，或在我的女儿以外另娶妻，虽没有人在场，你看，有神在你我中间作证。”拉班又对雅各说：“看哪，这石堆，看哪，这柱子，是我在你我中间所立的。这石堆是证据，这柱子也是证据。我必不越过这石堆去害你；你也不可越过这石堆和柱子来害我。

现在你们要写下这首歌，教导以色列人，放在他们口中，使这首歌成为我指责以色列人的见证。

我今日呼天唤地向你作见证：我已经将生与死，祝福与诅咒，摆在你面前。所以你要拣选生命，好使你和你的后裔都得存活。

我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们在过约旦河得为业的地上必迅速灭亡！你们在那地的日子必不长久，必全然灭绝。

我知道你的行为。看哪，我在你面前给你一个敞开的门，是没有人能关的。我知道你有一点力量，也遵守我的道，没有否认我的名。
