告民曰、我儕以此石為憑、耶和華所諭我者、斯石聞之、如爾違爾上帝、可以此石為憑。

約書亞謂民眾曰、凡主諭我諸言、此石皆聞之、可對我儕作證、如爾違主爾之天主、有此石對爾作證、

“ See!” he said to all the people.“ This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the Lord has said to us. It will be a witness against you if you are untrue to your God.”

“ Look!” he said to all the people.“ This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the Lord has spoken to us. Suppose you aren’t faithful to your God. Then the stone will be a witness against you.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the Lord that he spoke to us. Therefore it shall be a witness against you, lest you deal falsely with your God.”

Joshua said to all the people,“ This stone has heard everything the Lord said to us. It will be a witness to testify against you if you go back on your word to God.”

And Joshua said to all the people,“ You see this stone— it will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the LORD said to us, and it will be a witness against you, so that you will not deny your God.”

Then Joshua said to all the people,“ Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, because it has heard all the words of the Lord which He spoke to us; so it shall be a witness against you, so that you do not deny your God.”

耶稣说：“我告诉你们，若是他们闭口不说，这些石头必要呼叫起来。”

流便人、迦得人给坛起名叫证坛，意思说：这坛在我们中间证明耶和华是神。

乃是为你我中间和你我后人中间作证据，好叫我们也在耶和华面前献燔祭、平安祭，和别的祭侍奉他，免得你们的子孙日后对我们的子孙说，你们与耶和华无份了。’所以我们说：‘日后你们对我们，或对我们的后人这样说，我们就可以回答说，你们看我们列祖所筑的坛是耶和华坛的样式；这并不是为献燔祭，也不是为献别的祭，乃是为作你我中间的证据。’

“将这律法书放在耶和华你们神的约柜旁，可以在那里见证以色列人的不是；

天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

“诸天哪，侧耳，我要说话；愿地也听我口中的言语。

因神降的灾祸使我恐惧；因他的威严，我不能妄为。

我们若能忍耐，也必和他一同作王。我们若不认他，他也必不认我们；我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能背乎自己。”

撒母耳将一块石头立在米斯巴和善的中间，给石头起名叫以便以谢，说：“到如今耶和华都帮助我们。”

凡在人面前不认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必不认他。”

恐怕我饱足不认你，说：耶和华是谁呢？又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃，以致亵渎我神的名。

那时，有许多祸患灾难临到他们，这歌必在他们面前作见证，他们后裔的口中必念诵不忘。我未领他们到我所起誓应许之地以先，他们所怀的意念我都知道了。”

墙里的石头必呼叫；房内的栋梁必应声。

他们说是认识神，行事却和他相背；本是可憎恶的，是悖逆的，在各样善事上是可废弃的。

来吧！你我二人可以立约，作你我中间的证据。”雅各就拿一块石头立作柱子，又对众弟兄说：“你们堆聚石头。”他们就拿石头来堆成一堆，大家便在旁边吃喝。拉班称那石堆为伊迦尔撒哈杜他，雅各却称那石堆为迦累得。拉班说：“今日这石堆作你我中间的证据。”因此这地方名叫迦累得，又叫米斯巴，意思说：“我们彼此离别以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。你若苦待我的女儿，又在我的女儿以外另娶妻，虽没有人知道，却有神在你我中间作见证。”拉班又说：“你看我在你我中间所立的这石堆和柱子。这石堆作证据，这柱子也作证据。我必不过这石堆去害你；你也不可过这石堆和柱子来害我。

现在你要写一篇歌，教导以色列人，传给他们，使这歌见证他们的不是；

我今日呼天唤地向你作见证；我将生死祸福陈明在你面前，所以你要拣选生命，使你和你的后裔都得存活；

我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们必在过约旦河得为业的地上速速灭尽！你们不能在那地上长久，必尽行除灭。

我知道你的行为，你略有一点力量，也曾遵守我的道，没有弃绝我的名。看哪，我在你面前给你一个敞开的门，是无人能关的。
