约书亚说：“你们现在要除掉你们中间的外邦神，专心归向耶和华以色列的神。”

“现在，你们要除掉你们中间外邦的神明，专心归向耶和华—以色列的上帝。”

“现在，你们要除掉你们中间外邦的神明，专心归向耶和华—以色列的神。”

约书亚说：“这样，你们现在就要摒弃你们中间的外族神明，专心归向以色列的上帝耶和华。”

約書亞說：「這樣，你們現在就要摒棄你們中間的外族神明，專心歸向以色列的上帝耶和華。」

約書亞說：那麼『現在你們要除掉你們中間外族人的神，傾心歸向永恆主以色列的上帝。』

曰汝中所有他人之上帝、今當去之、誠心相從以色列族上帝耶和華。

曰、爾中所有異邦之神、今當除之、一心歸向主以色列之天主、

“ Now then,” said Joshua,“ throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Now then,” said Joshua,“ throw away the statues of the gods that are among you. People from other lands serve those gods. Give yourselves completely to the Lord. He is the God of Israel.”

He said,“ Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ All right then,” Joshua said,“ destroy the idols among you, and turn your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Then get rid of the foreign gods that are among you and turn your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”

“ Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Now therefore,” he said,“ put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”

Now therefore put away, said he, the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto Jehovah, the God of Israel.

“ Then get rid of the foreign gods that are among you and offer your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

Now therefore put away,[ said he], the strange gods which[ are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

Joshua said,“ Now put aside the foreign gods that are among you and submit to the LORD God of Israel.”

“ Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.”

今當寅畏耶和華、以真以誠崇事之、去除爾祖昔在河東、暨在埃及所事之神、惟崇事耶和華、

然則何謂耶、言祭像之物為足稱乎、抑像為足稱乎、乃謂異邦所祭者祭鬼耳、非上帝也、我不欲爾與於鬼也、爾不能飲主杯、兼飲鬼杯、不能與主席、兼與鬼席、

上帝殿與偶像、何同之有、我儕乃維生上帝殿、如上帝曰、我將居其中、遊其間、我為彼上帝、彼為我民、故曰、爾宜出厥中而自別、勿捫不潔、我則納爾、我將為爾父、爾為我子、此全能之主所言也、

撒母耳告以色列家曰、如爾一心歸耶和華、則必除異族之神、及亞斯他錄於爾中、專心歸耶和華、而獨事之、則彼援爾於非利士人手、以色列人遂去諸巴力、及亞斯他錄、獨事耶和華、○

故我儕既受不震之國、宜感恩而以虔恭寅畏、崇事上帝、為其所悅、蓋我之上帝、乃焚燬之火也、

雅各命家人與從者曰、當除爾中異邦神像、潔己更衣、昔我遭難、上帝允我之祈、我行於途、上帝偕我、今當赴伯特利、為之築壇、遂以異邦神像、及耳環與之、雅各藏於近乎示劍之橡下、

以色列人謂耶和華曰、我干罪矣、任爾隨意待我、惟求今日救援、遂去其中異族之神、而事耶和華、耶和華因其困苦、中心愀然、

勿造神像匹我、勿作金銀之像、

其轉我心、向爾法度、不向非義之財兮、

勿使我心向惡、偕同惡黨作慝、勿使我食其珍羞兮、

傾耳以聆智慧、盡心以求通達、

以言歸耶和華曰、宥我諸愆、以恩納我、我則以言代犢、奉獻於爾、我不恃亞述之救援、不復乘馬、不復謂我手所造者曰、爾為我神、孤兒必蒙矜憫於爾耶和華、

使我心歸之、行其道途、守其諭我列祖之誡命、典章律例、

以法蓮將曰、我與偶像猶有何涉、我耶和華既應之、必加眷顧、我若青松、爾將由我而結實、
