约书亚说：“你们现在要除掉你们中间的外邦神，专心归向耶和华以色列的神。”

约书亚说：“这样，你们现在就要摒弃你们中间的外族神明，专心归向以色列的上帝耶和华。”

「現在，你們要除掉你們中間外邦的神明，專心歸向耶和華－以色列的上帝。」

「現在，你們要除掉你們中間外邦的神明，專心歸向耶和華－以色列的神。」

約書亞說：「這樣，你們現在就要摒棄你們中間的外族神明，專心歸向以色列的上帝耶和華。」

曰、爾中所有異族之神、今當去之、專心歸從以色列之上帝耶和華、

曰汝中所有他人之上帝、今當去之、誠心相從以色列族上帝耶和華。

曰、爾中所有異邦之神、今當除之、一心歸向主以色列之天主、

“ Now then,” said Joshua,“ throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Now then,” said Joshua,“ throw away the statues of the gods that are among you. People from other lands serve those gods. Give yourselves completely to the Lord. He is the God of Israel.”

He said,“ Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ All right then,” Joshua said,“ destroy the idols among you, and turn your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Then get rid of the foreign gods that are among you and turn your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”

“ Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

“ Now therefore,” he said,“ put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”

Now therefore put away, said he, the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto Jehovah, the God of Israel.

“ Then get rid of the foreign gods that are among you and offer your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”

Now therefore put away,[ said he], the strange gods which[ are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

Joshua said,“ Now put aside the foreign gods that are among you and submit to the LORD God of Israel.”

“ Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.”

那么，我怎么说呢？难道说祭过偶像的食物算得了什么吗？或说，偶像算得了什么吗？不，我是说，外邦人所献的祭是献给鬼魔的，不是献给神的；而我不愿意你们成为与鬼魔有份的人。你们不能既喝主的杯，又喝鬼魔的杯；不能既吃主的筵席，又吃鬼魔的筵席。

神的圣所与偶像有什么相同呢？要知道，我们是永生神的圣所，正如神所说：“我将要在他们中间居住，在他们中间往来；我将要做他们的神，他们将要做我的子民。”“所以主说：你们要从他们中间出来，要被分别出来；不要碰不洁净的东西，我就接纳你们”，“我将要做你们的父亲，你们将要做我的儿女。这是主、全能者说的。”

撒母耳就对以色列全家宣告说：“你们如果全心回转归向耶和华，就要把外邦的神明和亚斯她录从你们中间除掉，立定心志归向耶和华，唯独服事他。这样他就会解救你们脱离非利士人的手。”于是以色列人除掉了众巴力和亚斯她录，唯独服事耶和华。

因此，我们既然在领受一个不能被震动的国度，就让我们怀有感恩的心，藉此以虔诚和敬畏，照着神所喜悦的来事奉他。要知道，我们的神实在是吞噬的烈火。

雅各就对他的家人以及所有与他在一起的人说：“你们要除掉你们中间的外邦神像，并要洁净自己，更换你们的衣服。让我们起来，上伯特利去，在那里我要造一座祭坛给神；他就是在我患难的日子回应我，在我所行的路上与我同行的那一位。”于是他们把自己手中所有的外邦神像和自己耳朵上的环子都交给雅各；雅各把它们埋藏在示剑附近的橡树底下。

求你使我的心倾向你的法度，而不向着私利。

不要让我的心偏向恶事，以致我与作孽的人一同行恶；也不要让我吃他们的美食。

使你的耳朵留心听智慧，使你的心专注聪慧；
