If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has been good to you.”

Suppose you desert the Lord. Suppose you serve the gods that people in other lands serve. If you do, he will turn against you. He will bring trouble on you. He will destroy you, even though he has been good to you.”

如果我们领受真理的知识以后仍故意犯罪，就不再有赎罪的祭物，惟有战战兢兢等候审判和那将吞灭众敌人的烈火了。

“我儿所罗门哪，你当认识耶和华—你父的神，全心乐意地事奉他，因为耶和华鉴察众人的心，知道一切心思意念。你若寻求他，他必使你寻见；你若离弃他，他必永远丢弃你。

但是神转脸不顾，任凭他们祭拜天上的日月星辰，正如先知书上所写的：‘以色列家啊，你们四十年间在旷野，何曾将牺牲和祭物献给我？

他们竟然悖逆，使他的圣灵忧伤。他就转变，成为他们的仇敌，亲自攻击他们。

耶和华—以色列的盼望啊，凡离弃你的必蒙羞。离我而去的，他们必被写在地里，因为他们离弃耶和华，这活水的泉源。

他出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒，犹大和便雅悯众人哪，要听我说：你们若顺从耶和华，耶和华必与你们同在；你们若寻求他，就必寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

我以求王拨步兵骑兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌为羞愧，因我们曾对王说：“我们神施恩的手必帮助凡寻求他的，但他的能力和愤怒必攻击凡离弃他的。”

至于义人，他若转离义行而作恶，照着恶人所做一切可憎的事去做，岂能存活呢？他所行的一切义都不被记念；反而因所行的恶、所犯的罪死亡。

但悖逆的和犯罪的必一同败亡，离弃耶和华的必致消灭。

但你们这些离弃耶和华，就是忘记我的圣山、为‘幸运之神’摆设筵席、为‘命运之神’装满调和酒的，我命定你们归于刀下，你们都要屈身被杀；因为我呼唤，你们不回应；我说话，你们不听从；反倒做我眼中看为恶的事，选择我所不喜悦的事。”

你们若断然转离，紧紧跟随你们中间所剩下的这些国家，彼此结亲，互相往来，就要确实知道，耶和华—你们的神必不再将他们从你们面前赶出；他们却要成为你们的罗网、圈套、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华—你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。“看哪，我今日要走世人必走的路了。你们要一心一意知道，耶和华—你们神所应许要赐给你们的一切福气，没有一件落空，都应验在你们身上了。耶和华—你们的神所应许的一切福气怎样临到你们身上，耶和华也必照样使各样灾祸临到你们身上，直到他把你们从耶和华—你们神所赐给你们的这美地上除灭。

只是我的义人必因信得生；他若退缩，我心就不喜欢他。”
