“ The Lord has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you.

“ The Lord has driven out great and powerful nations to make room for you. To this day no one has been able to fight against you and win.

For the Lord has driven out before you great and strong nations. And as for you, no man has been able to stand before you to this day.

“ For the Lord has driven out great and powerful nations for you, and no one has yet been able to defeat you.

“ The LORD has driven out great and powerful nations before you, and no one is able to stand against you to this day.

For the Lord has driven out great and mighty nations from before you; and as for you, no one has stood against you to this day.

For Jehovah hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath stood before you unto this day.

他必從你們面前趕出這一切國家，你們也要佔領比你們更大更強的國家。

你一生的日子，必無人能在你面前站立得住。我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在；我必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。

我要逐漸把他們從你面前趕出去，直到你的人數增多，承受那地為業。

耶和華－你們的神必將他們從你們面前趕出去，使他們離開你們，你們就必得他們的地為業，正如耶和華－你們的神向你們所應許的。

他又要將他們的君王交在你手中，你必從天下除去他們的名；必無一人能在你面前站立得住，直到你把他們除滅了。

迦勒從那裏趕出亞衲的三族，就是亞衲族的示篩人、亞希幔人和撻買人。

這樣，耶和華將從前向他們列祖起誓要給他們的全地賜給以色列人，他們就得了為業，住在其中。耶和華照着向他們列祖起誓所應許的一切，賜給他們全境安寧。他們所有的仇敵，沒有一個能在他們面前站立得住。耶和華把所有仇敵都交在他們手中。

這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上所寫的一切話。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。我豈沒有吩咐你嗎？你當剛強壯膽，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為你無論往哪裏去，耶和華你的神必與你同在。」
