所以，你們應當剛強，謹遵摩西律法書上所記載的一切，不可有半點偏離。

故當毅然遵行摩西律書所錄、勿偏於左、勿偏於右、

故當自守、遵摩西律例所錄諸言、不偏於左、不偏於右。

Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left,

所以，你們要謹遵你們上帝耶和華的吩咐，不可偏離左右。

最後，你們要靠著主和祂的大能大力作剛強的人，要穿戴上帝所賜的全副軍裝，以便能夠抵擋魔鬼的陰謀。因為我們爭戰的對象不是這世上的血肉之軀，而是在這黑暗世界執政的、掌權的、管轄的和天上屬靈的邪惡勢力。因此，你們要用上帝所賜的全副軍裝裝備自己，好在邪惡的時代抵擋仇敵，到爭戰結束後依舊昂首挺立。務要站穩，用真理當作帶子束腰，以公義當作護心鏡遮胸，把和平的福音當作鞋子穿在腳上準備行動。此外，還要拿起信心的盾牌，好滅盡惡者一切的火箭。要戴上救恩的頭盔，緊握聖靈的寶劍——上帝的話。要靠著聖靈隨時多方禱告和祈求，警醒不怠地為眾聖徒禱告。也請你們為我禱告，求上帝賜我口才，讓我勇敢地把福音的奧祕講解明白。

至於那些膽怯的、不信的、行為可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的和所有說謊的，他們的結局是被丟進硫磺火湖裡，這就是第二次的死。」

「你們要謹遵我的一切吩咐，不可增添，也不可刪減。

其實你們與罪惡搏鬥，還沒有抵擋到流血的地步。

耶和華說：「他們鼓舌如簧，射出謊言，遍地充滿詭詐，毫無誠實；他們行惡不斷，不認我是上帝。

你們要警醒，在信仰上堅定不移，做勇敢剛強的人。

這樣，他就不會妄自尊大，違背誡命，他和他的子孫就可以長久統治以色列。

你只要剛強勇敢，謹遵我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，毫不偏離，就可以無往不利。你要常常誦讀這律法書，晝夜不斷地思想，以便謹遵律法書上的一切指示。這樣，你必亨通、順利。我再次吩咐你，要剛強勇敢！不要害怕，也不要灰心，因為你無論走到哪裡，你的上帝耶和華必與你同在。」

要鋪平腳下的路，使所行之道穩妥。不可偏右偏左，要遠離惡事。
