我今天吩咐你的，你务要遵守。看哪，我要把亚摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，从你面前赶逐出去。

如果你们转离耶和华，与你们中间剩下的这些国家的余民联络，和他们通婚，互相来往，你们就必知道，耶和华你们的神必不再把这些国家从你们面前赶出去；他们必要成为你们的网罗和陷阱，肋下的鞭和眼中的刺，直到你们从耶和华你们的神赐给你们的这美地上灭亡为止。

就要把所有的居民从你们面前赶出去，毁坏他们的一切雕像，以及一切铸像，又拆毁他们的一切邱坛。你们要占领那地，住在那里，因为我已经把那地赐给你们作产业。

我要渐渐地把他们从你面前驱逐出去，等到你的人数增多起来，承受那地为止。我要限定你的境界，从红海直到非利士海，从旷野直到大河。我要把那地的居民交在你手中，你要把他们从你面前驱逐出去。
