Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations,[ even] these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:

你们若稍微转去，与你们中间所剩下的这些国民联络，彼此结亲，互相往来，

你们若断然转离，紧紧跟随你们中间所剩下的这些国家，彼此结亲，互相往来，

如果你们悖逆，跟你们当中剩下的异族人联合，通婚往来，

如果你们转离耶和华，与你们中间剩下的这些国家的余民联络，和他们通婚，互相来往，

你們若稍微轉去，與你們中間所剩下的這些國民聯絡，彼此結親，互相往來，

你們若斷然轉離，緊緊跟隨你們中間所剩下的這些國家，彼此結親，互相往來，

你們若斷然轉離，緊緊跟隨你們中間所剩下的這些國家，彼此結親，互相往來，

如果你們悖逆，跟你們當中剩下的異族人聯合，通婚往來，

如果你們轉離耶和華，與你們中間剩下的這些國家的餘民聯絡，和他們通婚，互相來往，

你們若稍微轉離，去緊依附着這些在你們中間剩下來的餘留之國的人，而和他們彼此結親，攙雜通婚，

爾若轉而合於爾中遺民、與之嫁娶往來、

如爾反是、恆從爾中遺民、與之嫁娶往來、

如爾違背、而與爾中所遺之民聯絡、與之嫁娶往來、往來或作相雜

“ But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you and if you intermarry with them and associate with them,

“ But suppose you turn away from him. You mix with the people who are left alive in the nations that remain among you. Later, you and they get married to each other. And you do other kinds of things with them.

For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you and make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,

“ But if you turn away from him and cling to the customs of the survivors of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry with them,

If you ever turn away and become loyal to the rest of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry or associate with them and they with you,

For if you ever go back and cling to the rest of these nations, these which remain with you, and intermarry with them, so that you associate with them and they with you,

Or else, if indeed you do go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations— these that remain among you— and make marriages with them, and go in to them and they to you,

Else if ye do at all go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you;

For if you turn away and cling to the rest of these nations remaining among you, and if you intermarry or associate with them and they with you,

But if you ever turn away and make alliances with these nations that remain near you, and intermarry with them and establish friendly relations with them,

“ But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

And them that are turned back from the LORD; and[ those] that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last[ state] of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave[ it] for an inheritance to your children for ever.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in[ them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean[ thing]; and I will receive you,

In those days also saw I Jews[ that] had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon,[ and] of Moab:And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews’ language, but according to the language of each people.And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,[ saying], Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

[ Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity:[ but] peace[ shall be] upon Israel.

For when they speak great swelling[ words] of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh,[ through much] wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known[ it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog[ is] turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

For it came to pass, when Solomon was old,[ that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as[ was] the heart of David his father.

And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.

Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands,[ doing] according to their abominations,[ even] of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of[ those] lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name[ is] Jealous,[ is] a jealous God:Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and[ one] call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.

The words of his mouth[ are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise,[ and] to do good.

Of the nations[ concerning] which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you:[ for] surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity,[ and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked[ man] doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

From that[ time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if[ any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house.Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
