Now to the[ one] half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given[ possession] in Bashan: but unto the[ other] half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,

( To the half- tribe of Manasseh Moses had given land in Bashan, and to the other half of the tribe Joshua gave land on the west side of the Jordan along with their fellow Israelites.) When Joshua sent them home, he blessed them,

Moses had given land in Bashan to half of the tribe of Manasseh. Joshua had given land to the other half of the tribe. He had given it to them along with the other tribes on the west side of the Jordan River. When Joshua sent them home, he blessed them.

Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan, but to the other half Joshua had given a possession beside their brothers in the land west of the Jordan. And when Joshua sent them away to their homes and blessed them,

Moses had given the land of Bashan, east of the Jordan River, to the half tribe of Manasseh.( The other half of the tribe was given land west of the Jordan.) As Joshua sent them away and blessed them,

Moses had given territory to half the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, but Joshua had given territory to the other half, with their brothers, on the west side of the Jordan. When Joshua sent them to their homes and blessed them,

Now to the one half tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan, but to the other half Joshua gave a possession among their brothers westward beyond the Jordan. So when Joshua sent them away to their tents, he also blessed them,

Now to the one half- tribe of Manasseh Moses had given inheritance in Bashan; but Joshua gave to the other half among their brothers beyond the Jordan westward. Moreover when Joshua sent them away to their tents, he blessed them,

There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he[ was] the firstborn of Joseph;[ to wit], for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.There was also[ a lot] for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these[ were] the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these[ are] the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which[ were] on the other side Jordan;Because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons: and the rest of Manasseh’s sons had the land of Gilead.And the coast of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that[ lieth] before Shechem; and the border went along on the right hand unto the inhabitants of Entappuah.[ Now] Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh[ belonged] to the children of Ephraim;And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim[ are] among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also[ was] on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea:Southward[ it was] Ephraim’s, and northward[ it was] Manasseh’s, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns,[ even] three countries.Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out[ the inhabitants of] those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

And Moses gave unto them,[ even] to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts,[ even] the cities of the country round about.

And Moses gave[ inheritance] unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and[ this] was[ the possession] of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which[ are] in Bashan, threescore cities:And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan,[ were pertaining] unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh,[ even] to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
