They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them to devastate the country where the Reubenites and the Gadites lived.

The people were glad to hear the report. They praised God. They didn’t talk anymore about going to war against the eastern tribes. And they didn’t talk anymore about destroying the country where the tribes of Reuben and Gad lived.

And the report was good in the eyes of the people of Israel. And the people of Israel blessed God and spoke no more of making war against them to destroy the land where the people of Reuben and the people of Gad were settled.

And all the Israelites were satisfied and praised God and spoke no more of war against Reuben and Gad.

这奥秘就在夜间异象中显明给但以理，但以理就称颂天上的上帝。

大卫对全会众说：“你们应当称颂耶和华—你们的上帝。”于是全会众称颂耶和华—他们列祖的上帝，低头向耶和华和王下拜。

西面就把他抱过来，称颂上帝说：

非尼哈祭司与会众中的领袖，就是与他同来那些以色列族系的领袖，听见吕便人、迦得人、玛拿西人所说的话，就都看为美。

众人都默默无声，听巴拿巴和保罗述说上帝藉着他们在外邦人中所行的神迹和奇事。

大卫对亚比该说：“耶和华—以色列的上帝是应当称颂的，因为他今日派你来迎接我。你和你的见识也配得称赞，因为你今日拦阻我亲手报仇、流人的血。

但是，提摩太刚从你们那里回来，将你们信心和爱心的好消息报给我们，又说你们常常记念我们，切切想见我们，如同我们想见你们一样。所以，弟兄们，我们在一切困苦患难中，因着你们的信心得到鼓励。如今你们若靠主站立得稳，我们就得生了。

不但藉着他来，也藉着他从你们所得的安慰，安慰了我们，因为他把你们的思念，你们的哀恸，你们对我的热忱，都告诉了我，使我更加欢喜。

众人念了，因为信上鼓励的话而感到欣慰。

愿颂赞归给我们主耶稣基督的父上帝。他在基督里曾把天上各样属灵的福气赐给我们。

以斯拉站在上面，在众百姓眼前展开这书。他一展开，众百姓都站起来。以斯拉称颂耶和华至大的上帝，众百姓都举手应声说：“阿们！阿们！”他们低头，俯伏在地，敬拜耶和华。
