They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them to devastate the country where the Reubenites and the Gadites lived.

The people were glad to hear the report. They praised God. They didn’t talk anymore about going to war against the eastern tribes. And they didn’t talk anymore about destroying the country where the tribes of Reuben and Gad lived.

And the report was good in the eyes of the people of Israel. And the people of Israel blessed God and spoke no more of making war against them to destroy the land where the people of Reuben and the people of Gad were settled.

And all the Israelites were satisfied and praised God and spoke no more of war against Reuben and Gad.

这奥秘在夜间的异象中向但以理显明，他便颂赞天上的上帝，

大卫对全体会众说：“你们要颂赞你们的上帝耶和华。”于是，全体会众颂赞他们祖先的上帝耶和华，向耶和华和王俯伏下拜。

就把祂抱过来，称颂上帝说：

祭司非尼哈和以色列会众的族长听了他们的解释，都很满意。

众人都沉默不语，继续听巴拿巴和保罗叙述上帝借着他们在外族人中所行的神迹奇事。

大卫对亚比该说：“以色列的上帝耶和华当受称颂！祂今天派你来见我。你很有见识，你今天拦阻我亲手杀人复仇，值得称赞。

现在，提摩太刚从你们那里回来，把有关你们信心和爱心的好消息告诉了我们。他说你们常常思念我们，很想见到我们，就像我们渴望见到你们一样。弟兄姊妹，你们的信心使我们在万般困苦和患难中得到了激励。得知你们靠着主坚定不移，我们现在感到振奋。

我们得到激励，不但是因为提多来了，也因为看到他从你们那里得到了激励。他把你们对我的想念、对我的热心以及你们的哀痛都告诉了我，这使我更加欢喜。

众人读过这封信之后，都因信中劝勉的话而欢喜。

赞美我们主耶稣基督的父上帝！祂在基督里赐给了我们天上各样属灵的恩福。

以斯拉站在高处，他在全体会众面前一打开书卷，他们都站了起来。以斯拉称颂伟大的上帝耶和华，全体民众都举手应声说：“阿们！阿们！”他们又面伏于地，俯伏敬拜耶和华。
