对他们二人说：“我知道耶和华已经把这地赐给你们了，你们使我们十分害怕，这地所有的居民都在你们面前胆战心惊。

對他們說：「我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們，並且因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了。這地的一切居民在你們面前心都消化了；

對他們說：「我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們了，並且我們也都懼怕你們。這地所有的居民在你們面前都融化了。

「我知道耶和華已經把這地方賜給你們，我們十分害怕。這裡所有的居民都嚇得膽戰心驚。

對他們二人說：“我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們了，你們使我們十分害怕，這地所有的居民都在你們面前膽戰心驚。

對他們說：『我知道永恆主已經把這地賜給你們，並且有一種懼怕你們的恐怖情緒落到我們心裏，而且這地所有的居民因你們的緣故都膽戰心驚。

曰、耶和華以此地賜爾、我所知也、緣爾之故、吾儕畏懼、斯土之民喪膽、

謂其人曰、耶和華曾以此地錫爾、我所素知、斯土之人懼爾、甚至喪膽、

謂之曰、主已將此地賜爾、為我所知、我儕悉懼爾、斯地一切居民、皆緣爾喪膽、

and said to them,“ I know that the Lord has given you this land and that a great fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you.

She said to them,“ I know that the Lord has given you this land. We are very much afraid of you. Everyone who lives in this country is weak with fear because of you.

and said to the men,“ I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

“ I know the Lord has given you this land,” she told them.“ We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror.

and said to the men,“ I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have despaired because of you.

and said to the men:“ I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you.

and she said unto the men, I know that Jehovah hath given you the land, and that the fear of you is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

and said to them,“ I know that the Lord has given you this land and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and everyone who lives in the land is panicking because of you.

And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

She said to the men,“ I know the LORD is handing this land over to you. We are absolutely terrified of you, and all who live in the land are cringing before you.

She said to the men,“ I know that Yahweh has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

“ I will cause the people ahead of you to feel terror and will throw into confusion all the nations you come to. I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in retreat.

Today I will begin to put the fear and dread of you on the peoples everywhere under heaven. They will hear the report about you, tremble, and be in anguish because of you.’

When they set out, a terror from God came over the cities around them, and they did not pursue Jacob’s sons.

When we heard this, we lost heart, and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on earth below.

Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.For by this our ancestors were approved.

But I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the end he will stand on the dust.

Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, I also know that it will go well with God-fearing people, for they are reverent before him.

Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified; trembling will seize the leaders of Moab; all the inhabitants of Canaan will panic;terror and dread will fall on them. They will be as still as a stone because of your powerful arm until your people pass by, LORD, until the people whom you purchased pass by.

The wicked one will see it and be angry; he will gnash his teeth in despair. The desire of the wicked leads to ruin.

The heavens are the LORD’s, but the earth he has given to the human race.

“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

for the Lord had caused the Aramean camp to hear the sound of chariots, horses, and a large army. The Arameans had said to each other,“ The king of Israel must have hired the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egypt to attack us.”

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods, because he did wonders when the Egyptians acted arrogantly against Israel.”

Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you bear the LORD’s name, and they will stand in awe of you.

A pronouncement concerning Egypt: Look, the LORD rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. Egypt’s worthless idols will tremble before him, and Egypt will lose heart.

Then, even a brave man with the heart of a lion will lose heart because all Israel knows that your father and the valiant men with him are warriors.

No one will be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put fear and dread of you in all the land where you set foot, as he has promised you.

His friend answered,“ This is nothing less than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has handed the entire Midianite camp over to him.”

Terror spread through the Philistine camp and the open fields to all the troops. Even the garrison and the raiding parties were terrified. The earth shook, and terror spread from God.When Saul’s watchmen in Gibeah of Benjamin looked, they saw the panicking troops scattering in every direction.

Don’t I have the right to do what I want with what is mine? Are you jealous because I’m generous?’

Then Naaman and his whole company went back to the man of God, stood before him, and declared,“ I know there’s no God in the whole world except in Israel. Therefore, please accept a gift from your servant.”

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ I give this land to your offspring, from the Brook of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River:the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,Hethites, Perizzites, Rephaim,Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.”

Desolation, decimation, devastation! Hearts melt, knees tremble, insides churn, every face grows pale!

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance and divided the human race, he set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the people of Israel.

Then he continued,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.Then the LORD said,“ I have observed the misery of my people in Egypt, and have heard them crying out because of their oppressors. I know about their sufferings,and I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the territory of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

After Lot had separated from him, the LORD said to Abram,“ Look from the place where you are. Look north and south, east and west,for I will give you and your offspring forever all the land that you see.I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.Get up and walk around the land, through its length and width, for I will give it to you.”
