Someone hears the trumpet. But they do not pay any attention to the warning. The enemies come and kill them. Then what happens to them will be their own fault.They heard the sound of the trumpet. But they did not pay any attention to the warning. So what happened to them was their own fault. If they had paid attention, they would have saved themselves.

He said to him,“ Didn’t I force you to make a promise in the name of the Lord? Didn’t I warn you? I said,‘ You must not leave the city and go somewhere else. If you do, you can be sure you will die.’ At that time you said to me,‘ What you say is good. I’ll obey your command.’
