那两个人对罗得说：“你在这里还有什么人吗？比如你的女婿、儿女，或是城中任何属于你的人，你都要从这地方带出去，因为我们就要毁灭这地方了；要知道，控告他们的呼声在耶和华面前极大，耶和华就派我们来毁灭这城。”罗得就出去，告诉将要娶他女儿的女婿们，说：“起来！离开这地方，因为耶和华就要毁灭这城了！”但在他们的眼中，他像是在开玩笑。黎明时分，天使们催促罗得说：“起来！带着你的妻子和你在这里的两个女儿离开，免得你因这城的罪孽被一同除灭。”罗得还在犹豫，那两个人因耶和华怜恤罗得就抓住他的手，以及他妻子和两个女儿的手，把他们领出来，安置在城外面。那两个人把他们领到外面以后，其中一位说：“逃命吧！不要向后看，也不要在平原的任何一处停留；要逃到山上，免得你被除灭。”

耶和华对挪亚说：“你和你的全家都要进入方舟，因为在这世代中，我看到唯有你在我面前是义人。

彼得与他说着话进去，看见里面聚集了许多人，

就是说，摩西按照律法向全体民众宣讲了所有的诫命之后，拿了牛犊和山羊的血，掺上水，用深红色的羊毛和牛膝草，洒在那书卷上和全体民众身上，

耶稣对他说：“今天救恩临到了这一家，因为他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。

愿主施怜悯给奥尼斯弗罗的家人，因为他多次使我神清气爽，也没有以我的锁链为耻；

他有话要对你说，藉这话你和你全家将要得救。’

我怎么能看着我的民族遭受这灾祸呢？怎么能看着我的宗族灭亡呢？”

所以我就立即派人到你那里。你来了真好！现在我们都来到这里，在神的面前，聆听主所吩咐你的一切话。”
