Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by Jehovah, since I have dealt kindly with you, that ye also will deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a true token;

我儕至斯土時、爾須以此絳繩、繫於縋我之牖、集爾父母兄弟、及父全家、入於此室、

人不為戚族謀、甚而不為其家人、乃背乎道、較不信者尤惡也、

如彼勤學我民之道、以我名而誓曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、若昔誨我民指巴力而誓、則必建立於我民中、

愚昧、背約、不情、不慈、

我民遇害、我何以堪、我族被滅、我何忍見、

爾當以耶和華之仁慈待我、不第在我存日、免我死亡、厥後耶和華殲大衛諸敵於地時、亦勿絕爾仁慈於我家、歷世靡暨、約拿單遂與大衛家盟約曰、不守此約者、願耶和華於大衛之敵討之、約拿單愛大衛、如愛己命、故使之復誓、

諭之曰、巡耶路撒冷城、凡緣邑中所行可惡之事、欷歔哭泣者、則印誌於其顙、我又聞彼諭其餘者曰、爾曹踵其後、巡邑擊殺、爾目勿顧惜之、勿加矜憫、老者少者、處子孩提婦女、盡行殺戮、惟有印誌者勿近之、自我聖所為始、遂自室前之老者始焉、

指天地之上帝耶和華而誓、我居迦南人中、勿娶其女、為我子婦、

約書亞與之修好立約、容其生存、會中牧伯向之發誓、

願主矜恤阿尼色弗家、彼屢慰我、不以我縲絏為恥、在羅馬時、殷勤覓我而遇之、願主令蒙矜恤於乃日、彼在以弗所多方事我、爾知之稔矣、

賣之者曾予以號曰、我接吻者是也、執而固曳之、

今當指耶和華而誓、不絕我嗣、不滅我名於我父家、大衛與掃羅誓、掃羅遂歸、大衛及其從者往於寨、

尼布甲尼撒使其指上帝而誓、彼仍背叛、強其項、剛厥心、不歸服以色列之上帝耶和華、

以色列人不擊之、因其牧伯曾指以色列之上帝耶和華、向之發誓、會眾遂怨牧伯、牧伯謂會眾曰、我儕既指以色列之上帝耶和華而誓、不可害之、既與之誓、必容其生存、免震怒及我、

大衛曰、願導我至其軍乎、曰、爾指上帝以誓、必不殺我、不付我於主手、我則導爾至其軍、

惟汝居室、以血為徵、我見之、將逾越爾、擊埃及時、不令施剿者臨爾、

僕遂置手於其主亞伯拉罕髀下、如命而誓、○
