他使萬族之民屈服於我們之下，使萬國之民伏在我們腳下。他為我們選擇我們的產業，就是他所愛的雅各所誇耀的。（細拉）

權柄之杖必不離開猶大，指揮之棍必不離開他兩腿之間，直到屬他的那位來到，萬族之民都歸順他。

在我父家裏、有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了；因為我去，原是要為你們豫備地方去的。我若去為你們豫備地方，就必再來接你們歸於我，叫我在哪裏，你們也在哪裏。

倘若約書亞已經使眾民享了安息，上帝後來就不再直講到別的日子了。這樣看來，就有一個安息日式的安息為上帝的子民保留着了。

『以下是要給你們分地為業的人，其名字是：祭司以利亞撒、和嫩的兒子約書亞。又你們要從每支派中取一個首領一個首領、來分這地。這些代表的名字記在下面：屬猶大支派的、有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒。屬西緬子孫支派的、有亞米忽的兒子示母利。屬便雅憫支派的、有基斯倫的兒子以利達。屬但子孫支派的、有一個首領約利的兒子布基。屬約瑟子孫瑪拿西子孫支派的、有一個首領以弗的兒子漢聶。屬以法蓮子孫支派的、有一個首領拾弗但的兒子基母利。屬西布倫子孫支派的、有一個首領帕納的兒子以利撒番。屬以薩迦子孫支派的、有一個首領阿散的兒子帕鐵。屬亞設子孫支派的、有一個首領示羅米的兒子亞希忽。屬拿弗他利子孫支派的、有一個首領亞米忽的兒子比大黑。以上這些人就是永恆主所吩咐在迦南地把產業分給以色列人的。

你請到我的地方，就是那在示羅的，我起先使我的名居住的所在，去察看我因我人民以色列的邪惡對那地所行的怎麼樣。現在呢、永恆主發神諭說，因你們行了這一切事，我也曾告誡了你們，又及時又屢次地告誡，你們卻不聽；我呼喚你們，你們卻不應，因此我必待這殿，就是這稱為我名下的，你們所倚靠的，我必待這地方，就是我所賜給你們、和你們列祖的，像我從前待示羅一樣。

他丟棄了示羅的帳幕，他在人間居住的帳棚；

這人年年從本城上示羅去敬拜、獻祭給萬軍之永恆主；在那裏有以利的兩個兒子、何弗尼、非尼哈、做永恆主的祭司。

正如你曾給他權柄管理一切血肉之人，使他可以將永生賜給你所給他的人。

有人就說：『看哪，在示羅年年有拜永恆主的節期』；（示羅就在伯特利北邊，從伯特利上示劍的大路上之東邊，又在利波拿南邊）。

那時王必對那在右邊的說：「蒙我父祝福的啊，來承受世界之創立以來給你們豫備的國吧。

耶穌對他們說：『我的杯、你們固然要喝；但坐在我右邊或左邊，不是我可以賜的，乃是我父為誰豫備了，就給誰。』
