以下這些地方是以色列人在迦南地分得的產業，就是以利亞撒祭司和嫩的兒子約書亞，以及以色列人各支派的族長分給他們的，是照著耶和華藉著摩西所吩咐的，以抽籤的方法把產業分給九個半支派。

你起來，縱橫走遍這地，因為我必把這地賜給你。”

約書亞清早起來，要以色列人按著支派前來；結果，猶大支派被抽籤抽中了；他要猶大宗族前來，結果，謝拉的家族被抽籤抽中了；他要謝拉家族的男丁一個一個前來，結果，撒底被抽籤抽中了；他要撒底家中的男丁一個一個前來，結果，亞干被抽籤抽中了，亞干是迦米的兒子、撒底的孫子、謝拉的曾孫，是屬於猶大支派的。

猶大支派按著家族抽籤所得的地業，是極南的部分，達到以東的邊境，去到南邊尋的曠野。

現在你要把這地分給九個支派和瑪拿西半個支派作產業。”
