扫罗向以色列的上帝耶和华祷告说：“请你把实情告诉我吧。”抽签的结果是约拿单和扫罗犯了罪，民众都是无辜的。

以下是祭司以利亚撒、嫩的儿子约书亚和以色列各支派的首领在迦南分给以色列人的产业，是照耶和华给摩西的指示，用抽签的方式分给九个半支派的。

你起来走遍这片土地，因为我要把这片土地赐给你。”

第二天清早，约书亚按照支派召来以色列人，结果抽中犹大支派；他让犹大支派各宗族前来，结果抽中谢拉宗族；他让谢拉宗族前来，结果抽中撒底家族；他让撒底家族的人一个一个前来，结果抽中迦米的儿子亚干。

犹大支派按宗族抽签分到的土地，南到以东的边界，到荀旷野的最南端。

分给其他九个支派和玛拿西半个支派作产业。”
